After 6 drafts in which Ted "43-40" Thompson has drafted 58 players, No. 5 on Ted's top ten list is a TE that has caught 60 passes for 6 TDs in 3 years. More than ninty percent of his picks have been less productive. After 6 drafts, Ted still needs "potential" to figure into his so-called draft "accomplishments." This is further proved with the addition of Clay Mathews in the top 5. Granted, Finley and Mathews are showing considerable potential, but that represents a minimal amount of actual production in Ted's top picks. Over the last 6 years 10 out of 11 were unable to be productive enough to rate higher than first year starters. If that isn't proof of past ineffectiveness, what is?

The last question is rhetorical. I can easily answer it for you. You know, the less winning and less playoff appearances for example. There's actually plenty of other evidence of ineffectiveness and failure. 21 of Ted's 58 picks aren't even playing for the Packers any longer. And that number is certain to grow by the start of the upcoming season.

Mike Vandermause, the Green Bay Press Gazette Sports Editor, listed the following players as likely to get cut:

FB - Flip a coin, either Kuhn or Hall gets cut.
TE - Either Donald Lee or Spencer Havner will be gone, and my guess is it's bye bye Lee.
OL - As previously mentioned, Barbre and Giacomini are goners, and Colledge could be a backup or traded.
CB - It could be the end of the line for Jarrett Bush, a combination corner and safety.

And there probably will be others. What about Justin Harrell for example? The 21 players drafted by TT and no longer playing for the Packers will grow in number. It's time to stop pretending that TT drafts well. He certainly doesn't draft well enough to rely almost exclusively on the draft to build a Championship team.
