Given the current situation with Rice and from what I seen from the receivers last Thursday that week 4 bye could now turn into a blessing, at least in terms of gettin' Rice out there quicker and missing one less game, sure looks like we need him more than I anticipated. We should get two bye weeks anyway, considering the age of our QB and given the fact we won the division last season.

They’ll be tough. Not as tough as last year, though. If momentum doesn’t matter, they might have a good season, but the near future looks dismal.

I'm annoyed that this post was taken over by those honks.

Yes the early bye might come in handy in that scenario, but come December Minn may be out of gas. It should be another great year in the division, good luck against the Dolphins this week.
