The last line of any performance is the most crucial of all. It is an opportunity to thank those who made the experience possible and reflect on the trials and tribulations that brought about the victorious outcome.

Andy Robertson, your ignorance is showing. No one is more responsible for us winning at what we do than God. You see God gives us life and without life there are no accomplishments. Athletes don’t thank God for interceding in their game; they thank Him for giving them the strength, stamina, and skills to compete in their game. Actors also are not thanking God for interceding in their winning of awards, but for giving them the talent to compete for those awards. People who believe in God are not tribal. On the contrary, they have the ability to see beyond the obvious and into the realm of the divine. It is people like you whom are simplistic. Just because you can’t see something, you believe it doesn’t exist. You can’t see the wind, but a strong hurricane will blow you and all of your friends away if you don’t believe it is real and stay in its path.
Andy you have to stop blaming God for everything! Try looking at it from His point of view. God doesn’t let children starve to death. He populates the world with an abundance of cattle, poultry, vegetables, and fruits. In the bible God says if you have two shirts and you see someone without, give them one. If you have food and you see someone without, give them some. If every man and woman gave to the needy based on that principal, no one would starve. You see Andy; it is not God that lets them starve. It is selfish man who does not listen to God that lets them starve.
God also doesn’t make planes or buses crash. I have never heard of God piloting a plane or driving a bus which crashed. I believe if God was driving either, it would be impossible to have a crash. God also did not build the planes or busses that crash. No, man builds these contraptions and then takes the risk of boarding them, knowing they are made imperfect by imperfect human beings. We take the risk based on the unlikelihood of a crash.
The bible says,”The fool has said in his heart, There is no God (They are corrupt, they have committed abominable deeds; There is no one who does good)’. Andy, I disagree with you completely regarding people thanking themselves. This generation seems to take credit for things they haven’t yet accomplished and thinks way too highly of themselves. I find it refreshing in this day and age to see people having the wisdom to thank their Creator for all of their blessings.“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom”.
