Harvin doesn't think Ponder is good enough to stay with the vikings.

What does this say about our QB situation?

Harvin reads the pointless drivel that is Avant and doesn't want to be associated with the team or it's fans.

Oh, and he wants more money.

Only thing that makes sense.

I can't stand Brett Favre but do you think if we had a respectable QB, Harvin would ask for a trade?

When I say respectable I mean in football. We all know Favre isn't respected when he is in a room by himself jerking and sending pictures to women.

For those who think Jarius Wright can replace Harvin think again. He is not in Harvin's league.

Lets put it like this. Harvin is the BEST player on the vikings making only 900 thousand a year.

Percy has all the power with Peterson hurt. If I'm him I don't play another down until the vikings pay the going salary of the man who has the 3rd most all purpose yards since he has been in the NFL.

The reason the Vikings drafted Wright is that Harvin was only in 56% of the snaps last year. I agree Harvin is a special players & being in just over half the snaps & to still have the catches & yards he had last year he is very special & he plays halfback. If the Vikes was to trade Harvin they would need a minimum sceond round pick along with a fourth. because he is a proven player & a first round pick. I dont see this happening.

I agree Harvin is worth a lot more then 915,000 he is getting But there is two years left on his rookie contract that was over 12 million when he signed. If its money that he wants there isnt a lot he can do still having two years on his contract. Harvin should hold off to next year & get the money he is worth if thats the problem. He needs to follow Peterson's lead here & the money will come.

Harvin has his most power now with Peterson hurt and a QB, coach and GM who needs him 2012 or they will all be gone 2013.

There are no guaranteed contracts teams can cut players anytime they want so when a star player has power, I say use it. Turnabout is fair play.

100 percent of the time I'm on the players side when it comes to money.

Still Harvin has two years on his rookie contract IT would only hurt him to sit out this season.. Only three weeks ago, Harvin was speaking about setting an example and being a leader for one of the NFL's youngest teams. Now, apparently, he's willing to play his most valuable leverage chip and say he wants out.has two years remaining on his original rookie deal, with base salaries of $915,000 in 2012 and $1.55 million in 2013, plus modest workout bonuses of $27,500 in each year.

Harvin is one of the NFL top player this is true But he also has migraines & had to sit out of many of the snaps last season because of them. He also is recovering from shoulder surgery Not a lot of teams are willing to take a chance he will be a 100%., He Wont get the money from some other team that he could get from the Vikings if he holds off to next season.

Still a team can cut a player at anytime or require a pay-cut so if I were Harvin I get as much money as soon as possible. If Peterson didn't sign a contract last year do you think the vikings would give him a contract after getting injured? That's why when you have NFL power like Harvin has right now use it.

The contract no doubt is part of Harvin's beef with the Vikings, But they were wary of paying Harvin even before this situation began to unfold, given concerns about his durability, lifestyle and history of insubordination.

Harvin I dont think should be asking for more money now Not after his injury. What he need to do is show he can still perform Without seeing a performance this Year He isnt going to get a big money contract. Just look at Matt Forte same thing is happening with him., IF Forte wants a big money contract he needs to prove to the Bears he can perform still at a high lecel. Its the same thing with Harvin.
