Tebow would make a good TE or RB in the NFL. They need good role models right now. He is a team player and that's why he gets such good press. The press makes the individual look good when he works so hard with others.
Same with (my congrats to) Heisman winner Bradford's gratitude and dedications to his teammates anc coaches.
All were gracious. Besides the fact that Colt Mccoy was "left out" of the championship games, Heismans don't go to someone with chips already on their shoulders. Not that he wasn't deserving.
Harrell didn't get invited because Heismans don't go to someone with a 44 point loss on their season record.(not with the numbers on the other guy's stats)
So I was watching the Greatest Game Ever Played last night, and the Colts/Giants 58 championship at Yankee Stadium game reminded me of the Tech/Nebraska game. Another OT game, Tech's early lead in the first, Huskers comeback in the second and plus, Johnny Unitas and Raymond Barry looked alot like Harrell and Crabtree!
And here, Graham went to DC instead of NYC and met the president after winning the Unitas award and meeting Barry!
Destiny is bright. Harrell would make an excellent NFL QB. I hope he gets a good draft (later round) onto a good team.
Harrell needs at least two passing touchdowns in the Cotton Bowl to set the all-time career passing TDs record.(131)
I wonder if by his senior year, Bradford would also tie or break it.

colt might not have learmed to play football from
mack but he did learned how to whine when he said if he had played in the big 12 finals he would
have won; maybe but he did not win the big 12 because texas is not a good as oklahoma and he is not as good as sam except in whining

“Don't harsh my mellow, man!”

Someone needs to tell the writer that Heupell didn't win a Heisman.

Congrats Sam!

You know, Texas Longhorn fans are spoiled. You have had the successful programs for as long as you can remember, so you automatically assume that you deserve everything.
UT fans made a crucial mistake. After their loss to Tech, they unanimously rooted for OU. That was the wrong team to wish to win. It created the three way tie, in which the Big 12 South representative would be decided by the polls. If you are going to complain about the outcome of those polls, you are forgetting the fact that there is a three way tie.
DONT GET ME WRONG
I understand your argument.
You beat OU, HEAD TO HEAD, 45-35, and they get the #1 spot. "itÂ’s not fair"
What about Texas Tech??? "they lost by 44 pts"
SO?
That is point differential.
Texas fans and the sympathetic press are using the point differential to rule Tech out,
but then,
they use the head to head to put themselves #1.
Your argument is indeed legitimate, as legitimate as Texas Tech's. But OBSELETE!
Concentrate on your bowl game, you're lucky to be #3

Correction Nancy: the writer wrote runner-up for the Heisman in regards to Heupel.
and to everyone else doubting our glorified Sooners and one hell of a quarterback...all will tell on Jan 8th!

Congratulations to Sam! Sam is VERY deserving of this award, even IF OU loses on 01/08.
