Pat Summerhill announced that the Wild Rebel offence was created by Danny Nutt. Not so.
The Wild Hog offence was developed by Gus Malzahn, and later renamed and copied by the Nutt brothers. Mike Pope

It’s good that I don't gamble. I’d be battered and bruised and feeling sorry for myself, like Alabama, Texas Tech, Atlanta, & Indianapolis.

I admit that I was wrong. The SEC defense dominated Tech's offense. But Crabtree was hurt and I don't know what was wrong with the usually mature and efficient O-line. They must have hung out with the Dallas Cowboys all week, because they acted like babies.
Tech wasn't the only screw up. Alabama threw away all bragging rights to Utah....

This weekend was tough for my picks and I am taking the Red Raider plunge pretty hard.
Big 12 is having a tough bowl season for sure
But I still have to lean on Texas and Oklahoma.
Tech never had the premiere team, or defense to judge the big 12 by.
And I hope you weren't judging us by Missouri all season.

No excuses. Tech fell off at the end this year.
10-0 start pillaged by OU and then sketchy play through Baylor and Ole Miss.
That little Clusterfu** guy is not too different from Sproles of San Diego, small quick and annoying to the opposing team!
Defense. Ah... you must be so proud. Your #25 Ole Miss who have now beaten Florida and Texas Tech have shown SEC's defensive prowess.
Tech's defense played ok for about 10 minutes.
Once Crabtree tripped over his shiny red shoelaces, the momentum turned into diarrhea

The Fiesta Bowl was a great game. But unfortunately for both Texas AND the Big12, it will not reflect well in the BCS.
Ohio State held a Big12 power offense to 24 pts and put up 400 yds. This is bad for the big12.
Oklahoma is the potential savior for the big 12's bigness

Honestly, I have enjoyed the pain I have suffered from football as a fan this season. The highest point of a 10-0 season for my Red Raiders to their despicable losses to Oklahoma and Ole Miss were a roller coaster ride. They finish 11-2, with losses only to Oklahoma and Ole Miss, and both teams could be the only teams to defeat #1 Florida.
Fiesta, Cotton, Sugar, all of the bowl games are renewed as classic games. Because of the upsets in the top ten of the BCS all season, every game matters.
Actually, the BCS number one spot has fallen from one team after another until now.
Oregon State over USC, Texas over OU, Tech over Texas, Oklahoma over Tech, Florida over Alabama are all examples of number one falling.
Oklahoma can get it back.

11-2? No wonder why the Pats did not get to the post season. They forgot to play 3 games.

You moron.
