UT fans made a crucial mistake. After their loss to Tech, they unanimously rooted for OU. That was the wrong team to wish to win. It created the three way tie, in which the Big 12 South representative would be decided by the polls. If you are going to complain about the outcome of those polls, you are forgetting the fact that there is a three way tie.

As a Tech fan, I do not argue for Techís case. I understand the score vs. OU was enough to knock us out of the picture. But we are still 11-1 and part of the three way tie. The only thing I could say is Big 12, you need one more factor in your program, but by the time you make the adjustment it will be too late.

I for one believe UT is better than OU. However, UTís arguments are valid, yet they depend on head to head match-ups. Well, three way ties in this particular case do not pay attention to head to head because all three teams are 1-1 to eachother.

The Big 12 should learn from this the hardest way possible. By having one team advance, and lose to the SEC. If the Big 12 canít see that this system cost a national title for the conference as a whole, they will never understand.

Sooner fans would be crying if it was the toerh way around.
But I agree, OU fans are not as spoiled as UT fans.
