Tired of Coach Bowden, he is an embarassment and he must go. Don't worry FSU fans were hoping the Zooker would hang around a few years ago too. I am a FSU grad and cannot stand what is happening. It is time for Bobby to go. Sorry to ruin the party.

"Oh and BTW, if you think that BB is going to get fired then you must be on hallucinogenic drugs. Furthermore, if you think your precious UCF players are a bunch of choir boys who have never cheated then you must be on a double dose of those same drugs"

I have never made any claim whatsoever about UCF players being a "bunch of choir boys." That’s a figment of your imagination, not mine!

"Have you pressured UCF to fire O'Leary since you're obviously a zealot who takes solace in the weaknesses of others?"

I don't take any solace in the weakness of others, Broward County despite what a moron like you may think. I just want the double standard to end between college students who are athletes and college students who are not athletes. I still hold to my assertion that if these FSU players had not been athletes they would have received a more severe punishment. THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN SAY THAT WILL CHANGE MY MIND ON THAT POINT!

“You need to wake up and realize that cheating is rampant in this country, from athletes using steroids to executives using insider trading to politicians fixing elections to football coaches lying on their resume. If you think that some kids who got the answers for a current test from a past test is worthy of more punishment than what was given out then you must think that all of the others belong in jail and that includes your head coach. Stop holding these kids up as some kind of example when all of the others before them are the ones that have set the example and that, once again, includes your current head coach, a person whose transgressions greatly surpass a few kids getting test answers for a frickin' online music history class that was designed to be an A or B class from the get go.”

As I said before, I don’t care if you’re cheating on an on-line music class, a basket weaving class, the Bar Exam, or a medical board exam; cheating is a severe infraction in college and it should be treated very harshly. You’re absolutely right; cheating is rampant in this country. I’m a very strict disciplinarian, and I believe that cheating of all kinds will continue to be rampant in this country until we harshly crack down on it, and make an example of kids who do decide to cheat, including star football players on the FSU Football Team.

O'leary has already been punished for what he did when he got fired from Notre Dame. He already paid his dues for that mistake. I’m a strict disciplinarian who believes that the punishment for cheating should be very harsh. However, I also believe in second chances, and that's what O'Leary has gotten with UCF, and so far he's been a pretty good coach.

"Oh and BTW, if you think that BB is going to get fired then you must be on hallucinogenic drugs."

You're probably right on about that point! The dumb Seminole fans still think Bobby Bowden is a god, even though he has lost his wings like Icarus and is plunging back to Earth. I will hold to my assertion that if Seminole fans truly want to help their football team, then they need to pressure their school to get rid of Bowden. I honestly don't think that FSU has any legitimate chance of winning the ACC as long Bobby Bowden is still in charge. Bobby Bowden is way past his prime and he needs to go before the Seminoles start to improve.

And what of your moral victory today? Is there one. Meyer takes the defending NC team with the Heisman winner, top player in the land and loses the div., conference, and a bowl game to an inferior team at home. I do not want to hear about FSU.. I want to hear about your game. Henne, not even a fianlist. Lights up UF. I just want to hear about your game. Not cheating, not the FSU/UF game. Just your game. I do not want to hear about Bowden. I want to hear about your game.
We don't claim victories when we lost-- that's YOUR DOMAIN. Michigan showed up to play and we didn't, simple as that. It's like just like that game we played on November 24th, only we were fortunate to keep our loss to a SINGLE DIGIT!

You're blowing a lot of things out of proportion, and when it comes to online classes the possibilities are endless for cheating. I have a relative who takes her tests for online classes at UF with mommy on the phone to help her. Does that count as cheating?? Should I call right now and turn her in since her mommy is taking the test for her?? If her mommy walked into the class would she be allowed to take the test or to offer assistance?? No, so why should she for an online class??
I had a calculus class in college and the teacher previously taught at another school where I just so happened to have a friend that had the same class with the same teacher. He gave me the tests and although the questions weren't the same, I used them to study for future tests in my class. Was I a cheater or just someone with a half a brain in my head that wanted to make sure that I knew what kind of questions were going to be asked on a test for a pretty difficult class? It's not like I was looking at someone else's paper or like I slept with the teacher and he fudged my grade or that I plagarized someone else's report. Should my degree be revoked? Should I have been kicked out of school?
Yes, you are a cheater unless the professor gave permission to review old tests, and so is your friend. I had several professors who would show us our grades and then required us to return them just to prevent students like you from having an unfair advantage over the rest. OTOH, I also had professors who released their previous exams so that EVERYONE had an opportunity to see the TYPE of questions that would appear on an exam.
At a REAL SCHOOL you don't hear about non-athletes cheating because THEY ARE EXPELLED and don't want any publicity for their humiliation! Students are expelled every year from universities all over the country and no one mentions it because they're not athletes. It seems that it only makes the news when it involves large numbers, such as the stories below.

Another zealot who thinks that if the same thing happened at
UF then the players would be expelled. This from someone with
a team that has had 11 YES ELEVEN players arrested inside of 1
stinking year but you think Urbie would kick them off the team
and they would be kicked out of school if they got answers for a
test?? Think again, son.

People like you and the UCF guy cannot have a conversation
because of the way that you blow everything out of proportion,
you don't understand that you don't get the death penalty for
shoplifting, and because you think that these things only happen
at other schools and that somehow the students or Administration
at your school are cut from a different mold and are morally
superior to everyone else. You have a take no prisoners, burn them
at the stake mentality, coupled with a morally superior conscience
that allows you to distort reality, ie, the premise that this
either wouldn't happen at UF or UCF. Furthermore, you guys
are living in a big fat la la land and are still taking
hallucinogenic drugs if you think that either of those schools
would kick 21 players off of the football team or that they would
be expelled. No way, no how, not now, not ever, so get out of your
ivory tower and get down to Earth with your holier-than-thou garbage.

What a jerk and a little man you are. Make an example out of a bunch of college students but let the rest go, ha? And your little diatribe about that big liar and cheater O'Leary? Well BB happens to feel exactly the same way - punish them and then move on. It might not fit your very rigid, Taliban-like approach to discipline, but then again BB and FSU aren't here to make you happy.

You should move to Saudi-Arabia. You'd be a real good judge in a court of Sharia law.

The gator posts on this article are absolutely unbelievable - if that is what gators are like then all high school seniors should run to Tallahassee for a real university as fast as they can go. The newer schools are fine if you don't want the tradition of the older established universities, but judging from these nasty gator posts, why would anyone even consider going to G'ville? I have noticed a real difference between fans at uf and fsu - on a consistent basis the uf fans are unbelievably obnoxious poor sports, win or lose. embarrassing! fsu has some like that, but not nearly as many. Speaking as a floridian that normally roots for all our schools, fsu is the school to root for if you really want to enjoy the game. Sure the cheating thing is bad, but the university handled it promptly and with decisiveness, exactly what it needed.

Broward County, yes you ARE a cheater and an embaressment to all Noles. Are you a football player or something who thinks you can get away with it. You should be ashamed of your cheating not proud of it. Only our football players should be proud of their cheating because they help us win (sometimes).
