How We See it: Who should be the quarterback of the Detroit Lions right now?

Paul Neumeyer: I think the Lions should stick with Jon Kitna. Yes, he's made costly mistakes, but he's also made positive plays.

I agree except the Vince Young idea.. It's time to give the job to someone else. They need to replace their o-line as well, those guys suck

Vince Young? are you insane, have you seen this guy play football? He sucks he's a college QB that's it. He's having a nervous breakdown right now because he can't stand the fact that he is just average in the pro's. Kerry Collins is twice the QB Vince Young is.

It's time to give Stanton a chance. What is there to lose except the game. And they do that every week. So I guess there is really nothing to lose.
I guess they could lose Mat Millan that can't hurt.
I would give Stanton the job and there you go it's uours to Win or Lose. He would't be anywhere near as bad as Kitna.

I am not a Kitna fan, but it does not matter who is quarterback in Detroit. Tom Brady would suck behind the Lions offensive line and the Lions do not have a running back. Nor do they have a receiver that can even get open and if they by chance happen to get open they are more than likely to miss the catch. NOBODY on offense or defense seems to want to play they stand around and watch and let's not discuss tackling.

Our Offensive line is good and so is our defense, it's Kitna, BENCH him, he should not be playing. he is not a Detroit quarterback!!! Start Drew, what do we have to lose, nothing!!!! If Detroit wants to win a game we need to start Drew. hey he got us 14 points in less then 7 mins in preseason. I know it was preseason but like I say give him a chance.

Start Drew: Kitna chokes and is frustrated, O is too slow for a real game and if Drew scrambles and wins a few downs, EVERYONE will be motivated.

I just pray he doesnt get hurt, but the kid wants to play. he was great at MSU.

Blame the offensive line all you want, you need a quarterback that can make quick decessions...and Kitna's two braincells can't read a defense and make accurate quick releases to slow down a rush! All the opposition has to do is put 8 in the box and pin there ears back to force Kitna to throw irratically, toss a few ints., or hold onto the ball and get sacked! Kitna is nothing but a waste of space! Back up quarterback at best....but for another team!
