Uh, let's not forget the greatest running back of all time - Sweetness. He dished it out unlike any other running back and often attributed his longevity to that facct... go Cedric!!!!!

Excellent advice from Earl Campbell: Sleep with the football! Backs and receivers really ought to make a habit of carrying a ball as often as possible - on the sidelines, during workouts, walking down the street, driving a car, sleeping etc. And it is suprising more players do not practice this. The ones who do always insist it'll help reduce turnovers.

I say CB plays all of 10 games. It is way different now as to the way even cornerbacks hit like linebackers. Payton ran over cornerbacks when cornerbacks were smaller and their actual job was covering receivers. CB's are bigger and stronger and frequently hit backs as they are being engaged by other defenders.

Listen to interviews from former linebackers that played against payton, and a lot of them didn't even want to tackle him.

I am from Midland and watched Cedric play in high school. I saw him play in a state championship game when he was so banged up that all he could do is run straight ahead. He would just smash into his tacklers. Chicago you are lucky, you have a quality athlete that doesn't quit.
