Jaguars free agent wide receiver Reggie Williams jeopardized a lucrative pay day in free agency early Friday morning when he was arrested in Houston for driving while intoxicated and possession of .97 grams of marijuana.

Where was the demonization.

The fact is that Phelps was applauded, for the most part by his white contemporaries and his sponsors.

WIlliams on the other hand is being demonized and his future earnings probably took a significant hit.

Your silly mutant, Phelps was arrested for DUI just a few years ago.

The photo of his smoking drugs out of his 'bong'(paraphernalia) was just the most recent incident with young Michael Phelps was caught abusing drugs and making a mockery of the law. Just a few years ago Mr. Phelps was arrested for "drivin' down the road" as well. He was charged with DUI.

So we know that not only is Michael Phelps a drug addict, he is also a selfish alcoholic who risked the lives of you and your children by getting behind the wheel while intoxicated.

Yet, MR. Phelps continues to catch a break. His sponsors stand by him and white trash like you make excuses for him. All this does is enable him and encourage more of his reckless behavior.

Is Mr. Phelps going to have to get drunk and kill a child before you and your ilk stop making excuses for him?

It's a shame that Mr. Phelps is applauded for his behavior while Mr. Williams, a real athlete, is maligned for doing the same thing.

Again, it's another shameful display of the double standard the typical Negro athlete has to face every day.

I don'ty care what color one is, as long as he can do the job. However, what's good for the goose should be good for the gander. Try to get a "normal;" job and you have to pass a background check. If you have committed any felonies. you can't work anywhere. Period. Why do the Jags make such exceptions? I don't think that once a felon, always a felon.
