As much as I'd like to stick with John Beck to gain experience, I would recommend staying with Cleo through the New England game. I would like to see the best people we have available to put the team in the best possible position against the Patriots. I know it's not much, but strange things have happened in the past. Jim Bates managed to rally a very down team in 2004 to beat the Patriots. It can be done. If there's one game to get the best people in there and play their asses off, it's that game.

Cameron and Beck looks like preachers! Good, nice, god's people! We should send them to a big church, to preach the gospel!

Two interceptions a piece. When one quarterback has throw two interceptions , replace him , let the other guy have a shot at it. he throws two interceptions , go back to page one. With this offensive line it won't matter who is behind it. one thing though. Call the same plays for each quarterback. This kid is either going to get it or he won't. Do let him play football though. He's the same age as lemon. This grooming stuff is ok at the kennel. At his age he's either ready or whoever picked him made a mistake. Don't make another one by sitting him. If you have to sit him, let him use his own rope. Make the offensive line block or sit a couple of them.

Gotta go with Cleo I think. For the sake of dignity, we need a win, and he gives us a much greater chance to do so.

What's up with the o-line sucking so bad now?

Its All on Cameron, calling stupid play and the worst times, he let go of the people who a QB can throw to, even if the pass is off a bit, Chambers would have help Beck develop more, Ginn does not have the hands to catch....CAM needs to go, he is suppose to be a QB's and offesive coach and he has done neither and has let the Defense slip. He has made everything worse.

Eeni meeni Minee Nice - I needed that!!! Honestly, we're kinda hosed either way. I'd go with lemon against Baltimore to try to get a win. If we win that game then give it to Beck for the rest of the year.
I'd love to think that john would give us the best chance to win, but I dont think that's reality.

0-13? on 0-16 with Culpepper? I think not! 1-15 with Green and probably 5-11 with Culpepper shaping up for a major playoff run next year!

The kid from Hawaii looks very good but if Beck can do the job the Hawaii kid will give the Dolphans a chance to trade down and get that defensive lineman from LSU. Play Beck and find out for sure.

The most important thing right now for the Dolphin franchise is not for Beck to gain experience the rest of this year. The most important thing is to win a game. I was among the many who wanted Beck in there for many of the reasons that have been discussed ad nauseum. However, I don't agree that we can determine if he is our QB of the future by playing in an offense as limited by injury and lack of talent as our current excuse for an offense. If that were the case, then many great QBs would have been dumped after their first year, including Elway, Simms and Peyton Manning. I'm not saying Beck will develop into a QB on that level, but it won't be determined this year. If the Phins go 0-16, it will stain this franchise like manure sundried into a wall until another team goes 0-16. In other words, for a very long time. The Dolphins have three games remaining, only two of which are potentially winnable (we're not going to win in New England...this Dolphin team is a skeleton of that poor 2004 team and New England is many times better). Lemon gives Miami the best chance to win. He may make a lot of errors, but at least he can move the team occasionally. That's not saying a whole lot, but it is the unfortunate truth.

Beck looked awful but the o-line was so bad he could not even get back 3 steps before getting sacked. The only real negative on Beck in the Buffalo game was the brutal dropped ball that turned into 7 points for the Jills.

Open up the playbook for Beck and go with him. Lemon got some points but the Jills were relaxing after getting the huge need. When the Jills woke up Lemon didn't do much other than drop the ball.

"...Beck viewed as QB of the future..." ??? By who? Cameron? Uh duh, he fell in love with him because he looks like Brees. Nobody else thinks he's the QB of the future, not the fans, not the players, not several other NFL "sources".

The fact is Miami choked in taking Ginn vs Quinn. Beck would have been there in the 4th round.

Cam and Mueller must go!

"Has not lead the offense?"

The word is "led," you incompetent moron. Does working for a newspaper no longer require even the most basic ability to spell? Pathetic.

Oh really? 1-15 won't "stain" this franchise? This franchise is already an embarrassment in the NFL and in the community. Have you watched any network coverage on Sundays? We are the laughing stock of the league.
What garbage..."get one win..." for what? To save face? Ha! Let Beck play, take his lumps like a man. Learn the hard way. Lets find out what this kid is made of. Would Marino crawl under the bench? Heck no! Why treat this new young millionaire with kit gloves?
Why such loser mentality? I guess all this losing is contagious.

Lemon fumbled 4 snaps, 2 INT. They pull beck after one bad slip, please. And he/beck is the quarterback of the future? Either the players weren't behind beck, and that is the more than obvious conclusion, or Cameron is fighting for his job. I can tell from watching the game again, as painful as it is. The players were NOT behind beck period. And i think they pulled a sort of, either you put Lemon in their, the more "experienced" QB, or we won't play to win. Go look, if you have the game taped, 2nd Quarter, 7:00 remaining.#71 literally spits in front of beck, as he is trying to warm up after lemon took a hit. Watch it in slow motion as i did. You can see it. His eyes turn to beck for Just a second, a split second, and then he spits in front of him. Its all their man. That's why lemon will be named the starter. Beck had one game against the jets. Look at him playing against Pitts in the crappy field, didn't turn the ball over one, look at him playing against the eagles, not one turnover. Granted, he didn't get in the endzone in those 3 games, but, neither did trent edwards before this Game with Miami.

Cleo Lemon may be Taylor's favorite, but NE will eat him alive.

John Beck is your future, and how dim it is, so stick with him.

Uh, if Lemon was starter quality he would already have proved himself. You may get a flash of brillance but it is very fleeting.

Odds are Beck will be injured, he looks fragile.

Oh yeah, those 2 INTs and countless fumbles by Lemon were quite a spark!
