Ponder won't be Aaron Rodgers, Jay Cutler or Matt Hasselbeck. Mel Kiper said it before his draft and I concur. He will be a poor mans Chad Pennington and that's his ceiling. For one of the few times ever I hope I'm wrong.

Don't worry, you are pretty much wrong on everything you have to say when it comes to football.

A proven fact.Only a few people in the forum even respond to him for a few years now.I doubt most even read his post,I know from our fantasy league smack talk section that most skip right over his post.

I know that is what Kiper said about Ponder last year But Does he still feel the same about what he said this year. I dont think so this is why IF Mel did feel the same about Ponder Why didnt he bring it up in one of his many talks about the Vikings this year? & when Mel was talking about the Vikes needs Why not say the Vikings Still needed a QB even if they the staff dont think so & then in Kipers Mock draft he Picked Kalil Not Once did he say to trade for RG3 or any QB in the Draft. Kipers second pick was Smith Still No QB I would like to see something that Mell Kiper said this year on Ponder He said that about Ponder right after the Draft.show me what he said This Year

Put the Blame where it should be.... Ponder"s arm is stronger this year then last also adding Kalil & RG Schwartz Johnson as LG should help improve Ponders avg. Last year Ponder Didnt have a deep threat Now the Vikes have Wright & Childs all this would help any QB improve form last season. Also drafting Smith & Robinson should help Ponder Last season teams had the ball longer then the Vikes The defense Couldn't get the ball back for the offense. The offense's Time of Possession was avg. 22:43 Opponents avg. Time of Possession was 37:17 Kind of hard to win with that Time You Think? The Vikings got Two Playmakers in Smith & Robinsion for the back field This should Help Ponder's avg go up You Got to Have the Ball to make TDs IT wasn't Ponders fault he only had 13 TDs & 13 INTs Put the Blame where it should be on the Offensive line & the Defensive secondary that Couldn't get the ball back in Ponders hands.
