Okay, so I was wrong. Cato who? Hello Kieaho! But I wasn't wrong when I said earlier that we would never miss Jason David or Nick Harper. This was fun defense to watch! Way to go Colts! Bring it on!!!

Great defense last night. Our secondary is just monstrous and scary, and having Giordano and Hughes back there as back-ups making huge plays is just fantastic.

David and Harper were not hitters, and our secondary was successful last year only because 1) it was more effective to run against us and 2) Bethea/Sanders/Jackson as safeties are hitters.

Now, about that arm. Is it serious or not? If you truly can't use your arm, then how is that not serious?

Cato June was a significant loss, but Freddy Kieaho fits well into the Tampa 2 style of D.
He is quick and HE CAN TACKLE!

I am with you, IndyTom. What is up with Freddy's arm? Last thing I want to see is the new hard hitter already seriously injured. This is going to be a long season - hopefully just as long as last season.

What do you suppose Jason David thought when he saw Marvin Harrison come to his side of the field? "Oh, sh!t!" He should have called timeout.

All I can say is "Awwwww Yeah!". Thankfully, looks like we are firing on all cylinders. Next week is the Titans. We'll have to see how that plays out.

Man, is that Giordano fast or what?? On those punt returns where the other team breaks free, it's often Giordano that runs down the returner and tackles him at our 10 yard line. Last night, after he intercepted, his arms and legs were pumping like crazy and he zipped past everyone.

And wasn't he the one who had the 4th down hit on the receiver in the SB that knocked the ball out for an incompletion?

Awwww yeah!

Giordano was smashing both in special team and as a reserve safety. I like the guy.

For those armchair, Monday morning QBs, get used to the colts. They are going all the way. Everybody was focusing on New England's acquisitions, and lost contact with Indy's already made, young and hungry players. It's going to be an interesting season, full of surprises and to Indy's advantage.

See you at the Super Bowl my Colts!

There is a clip of him on youtube while he was still in college. I think it shows how fast this guy truly is.

Freddy Freddy Freddy please tell me it isn't so. Hurt in the first game.
I have to say Freddy got game. Giordano is fast, I remember the Superbowl last year when D. Hester took the opening kick-off to the house. It was Giordano that almost walked him down. To do that you have got to be fast. The way the Colts played on defense last night was fun to watch. MJ bring the wood.

Yep, that was shaaweet! Now after watching that little clip, start clicking on the Bob Sanders clips. Especially the one titled simply "Bob Sanders". It is a montage of footage from his Iowa days. The guy hasn't changed any except put on more muscle. He is a freaking Taz on Kamikaze juice. He is EVERYWHERE. In the middle, at either side, downfield, upfield, at the line of scrimmage AND in the backfield. He has an INCREDIBLE sense for where the ball is going. I hope he stays healthy, that the Colts NEVER let him leave and when he decides to call it quits, that we can find another one JUST LIKE HIM. The guy is just plain fun to watch.

Here come da Hitman! Ooohhh Yeaaaaah!

These guys from Hawaii are physical type players. They are not afraid of making hits on people and taking them down. HE IS ALSO GOOD AGAINST THE RUN WHICH CATO JUNE WAS NOT. jUNE WAS NOT A PHYSICAL PLAYER,he was more of a finess player. He came up with a lot of interceptions.

Freddy, please let me be the president of your fan club. If I can learn to pronounce and spell your full name by the playoffs, will you take me with you to hawaii for the pro bowl? or fiji should we stumble? One game, and Colts fans are asking "cato who?" Weak side in Dungy's cover-2 is no longer weak. Should your injury slow you down, I'll give you a hand. I'm also first in line to tell Polian that you're a playmaker. You're gonna get a big contract, I hope its with the Colts. Rest of these fans are asking...trip to the beach, why didnt I think of that.

Freddy is an awesome player he plays sick, injured, it dont matter he is 150% committed and will do the job that hes paid to do, he has always been that way ever since He played Packer ball (peewee) i dont expect him to stop now not when he is doing what he loves and was put here to do!

Daily Horoscope for January 8

Scorpio

Self-worship is easy and obvious, today. The real prize is when you turn from the mirror to see that others think just as highly of you. Take in all this love and amazement, and store some away for lean times in the future. Someone may give you an unexpected compliment later in the day, but don't let them know that it caught you off guard. After all, you still have your reputation as an egomaniac to uphold!
