Here is a nice story about Adrian Peterson and TJ. The Vikings came to SF last year and beat the 49ers (which was great). After the game there is usually a meet and greet for the players and their families/friends. There were about 50-75 Viking fans waiting outside the gated area by the buses waving and cheering for the players. My nine year old son, wearing an old chuck foreman jersey, was waving to AD and TJ. NFL Security (Men In Black) told both players NOT to cross the buses and go over to the gated area, where there was no security and where we all were standing. Both AD and TJ, wearing Viking black sweats, looked at each other, smiled, and crossed over to greet ALL of US. AD and TJ made a point to sign autos and shake every Viking fans hand that was in the vicinity. They were polite and made my son's day. It was his first NFL game and he got to meet two very classy men. I am sure he will never forget it and I am proud to say I am a Viking fan and have been since 1969. AD had a rough day thanks to Pat Willis but still made a point to thank the Viking fans for coming out to support the team. No other player crossed the line by the way. Both were pat searched by NFL Security as they returned to the bus.

Robert Ferguson is a good player, the coach for Minnisota is giving him more playing time, which is good thing.Ferguson played the entire season last year without getting hurt, which this did not happen when he played for Green Bay, so i'm looking for Ferguson to have another good Year. Agreed. He had the injury bug in GB but he always was tough guy. I'am so glad to see him do good. Is one of my favorite people. Hope he has a good season. It's nice to hear these stories instead of the "daily diva drama"..GO FERGIE

I was meaning the "Uncle Arch" thing as a light-hearted joke, okay? So, whoever on here thought that I was being "mean", no I wasn't. Okay?

Braden Jones is having what sounds to be a great camp. Were you saying that he is more lucky than good? I understand that he is the fastest, has the best vertical jump and spreads the middle better than anyone of the other tight ends. Reports are that he is very smart and picks up things very quickly. I remember a story written that says he is a "diamond in the rough". I think the Vikes may fianally have a true pass catching tight end.

I went to the Thurs. practice game Vikes & KC chiefs at River Falls (a 4 hr drive). It was great to see most of the players there but everyone was disapointed that Jared Allen wasn't there. TJ & others looked pretty good on the 7 -7 drills. Looking forward to the preseason game with Steelers as I have tickets. Go Vikes

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Scorpio

If you're feeling brave enough, you should get out all your receipts`, and then tot up how much you've spent this month. Or don't you have the courage to do so? It will be far better to know the truth than to pretend that everything's all right. But don't let it spoil what promises to be a delightfully enjoyable and rather emotional day.
