How can they be limping around? Did they even take the field?

Many might disagree with me, but I think the weakest position on this team is WR & TE. We need a freaking playmaker on the outside and neither Rice or Berrian seems to be the answer. Bobby Wade is just a joke, he's too freaking small and never gets open. I think Allison should get more playing time, possibly at number 2 or 3 for us. Bobby Wade should be in street clothes already, he's a bum and I can't believe we thought he was a good free agent pick up last year. This team wont start anyone until we actually call pass plays and somebody can get open. TJ isn't Randall Cunningham reincarnated, but it doesn't help that nobody gets open and when they do, they drop perfect passes. TJ gets way too much of the blame, he doesn't call the plays or drop the passes folks.

Sorry, I meant scare anyone. Maybe we should pay Jason Garrett more than Jerry Jones does, cause Bevell has proven he can't get it done. RUN RUN, BOMB. How about we try to pickup a first down instead of a desperation bomb. Even a QB draw would have worked on occasion, TJ scrambled for like 70 yards in the opener, and really didn't venture across the line of scrimmage this week. So far we are like 0-8 on the season on 40 yard passes mostly because Berrian isn't wide open like he was in Chicago. Berrian probably wishes he was still a slot receiver or number 2 like he was in Chicago. When you go against the opposing team's top corner all day, big plays are harder to come by. That's why the great ones, RICE, T.O., MOSS & CARTER are/were so special, it didn't matter who covered them. We need to draft a blue-chip Wideout next year and stop paying over-rated free agents. I was really hoping we'd move up in the draft this year and grab Deshean Jackson, who might be rookie of the year when its all said & done.

Childress just re-iterated that he thought his kick-ass game plan was largely successful.

How can all of these guys be hurt, none of them have done anything yet. If I were Wilf I'd feel robbed! All of these big money players get that guarantee and stop playing as soon as they have a hang nail. What a rip off. I disagree with Johnny Utah, Wade is at least out there busting his ass and trying to make a play. The only hope we have is for the kicker to get the flu and miss a game. Without that security blanket Childress would actually have to try something else.

Childress has to change QB's to save his job, but I don't think it will matter. EVERY QB has looked bad in this offense. No creativity.

Let's start over right now developing a new quarterback. Starting Sunday against Carolina, make Frerotte your #1, and Booty your #2 for the year, and let Booty learn from Gus. Rogers sure learned a lot watching Favre for 3 years or more. I personaly think Booty can develope into a good quarterback in just one season. Oh yes, Let Frerotte call his own plays. It would sure make the game a lot more interesting, and would really keep the other team guessing. No more being predictable.

Usually, I agree with Utah's posts. Have to agree with you on Wade. Another point: I don't think that it's Bevell calling the plays. When you look on the sidelines, Childress has that damn chart under his shnoz like in the bad ol' days.

You have to remember, Chilly never got to call a play while he was the offensive coordinator in Philly. Now that he's a head coach, it's "his time" (in his own mind) to be able to call plays. Too bad we have to live with it. Now I can understand why he wasn't allowed to call plays in Philly.........

I can predict all of Klinks plays for Carolina.

Now pay attention, because this will be an absolutely perfect prediction (almost).

Every single series will be run, run, and pass.

Normally, with 8 and 9 men in the box, when it comes time for the pass play, we will be looking at no better than 3rd and 8. Because we will need to pick up 8 yards for the 1st down, Klink will call a 3-5 yard pass play to either Wade or Shiancoe. This being the case, Wade either won't get open, or will be tackled well short of the 1st down. If it goes to Shiancoe, he'll drop it.

IF.... and thats a big IF..... we get lucky, Gus audibles, tells klink to stick the kick-ass gameplan UP his ass, and we try something wild and crazy that hasn't been seen in years-

F-o-r-w-a-r-d p-a-s-s-i-n-g. As in, throwing the ball vertically downfeild to wide recievers on 1ST DOWN for a gain of positive yardage.

It sounds really crazy, and there isn't a place for it in the kick ass offense, but it's so WILD AND CRAZY.... That if Gus audibles and does that, it just might work.

I apoligise to the millions of run, run, pass, punt fans i just offended with this post.
