Tarvaris Jackson did a nice job of completing the routine passes that coach Brad Childress always likes, including a 12-yard rope to Bernard Berrian and a 15-yarder to Harvin.

...not to be forgotten the play that strikes terror in the hearts of opposing defenses...the 3 yard dump pass.....oooooohhhhhh!!!

Give him $20 million and end this ridiculous T-Joke/Rosensmells thing. News flash: the QB is a somewhat important position in the game of football...

TJoke sounds just like the same old TJoke. When will Childress finally admit that no matter how much you polish a turd it is still a turd?

Your brilliant coach isn't going after Lord Favre until AFTER one of your two talents goes down, and by then, it'll be too little, too late.

Good luck, Queenie fans.

Yeah? Wait until you see what happens to the Care Bears when they realize Cutler isn't throwing to a decent offense anymore. Spending lavishly on the best condom money can buy isn't going to make Lovie's Care Bears suddenly grow something... Why don't you wait until "your" team actually proves something before this season. Last season MN took division even with $h!tty QBs.

Next season, wake me up and I'll watch if there is a new head coach and quality quarterback in place. Taking this season seriously is a big mistake, fans. If you do, you'll regret it, having invested a lot of time and emotion on nothing.

Say it aint so, Sage more accurate than Jackson? Not when it comes to pick six's, but then no one can touch Tavaris in that category!

God this team has the worst fans in the world...don't people ever get tired of rehashing the old Tjax jokes & bashes? Seriously children enough, either support the vikings or find something better to do.

You losers make me sick.

There is a reason that this teams coaching staff was hell bent on signing Brett Farve; the current QBs on the roster are inadequate to compete for a championship.

Klink was so sure that he had Farve in the bag that he let Cutler go to the Bears; I bet he wishes he could have that decision back.

This teams QB roster is by far the worst in the division and quite possibly the league. I would take any of the 3 Green Bay QBs over which ever clown that eventually is named the Vikings starter.

If you look at all of the draft picks that the Vikings have used on the current crop of QBs its hard to imagine how Klink has hung on to his job.

You are so right. Look at the talent this team has on defense and offense. Last season we won the North. I am not a Tarvaris fan at all. I do have alot of faith in Sage and Booty. If Sage surprises everyone and turns out to be a good quarterback (for the record I think he will) and we have 8 or 9 good years with him, he won't be any older than so called savior Favre is now. Am I drinking the purple kool-aid? Maybe, but I drank it last year and we won the division with Gus Freotte behind center. Nowhere to go but up with the quality of players on this team. GO VIKES!!

Why no mention of Matt Cassel? He's the one that got away. I hope Sage gets a shot.We know what Tjax can, and mostly can't do. I haven't seen much of Sage, but I would think he would be an improvement.

the thing that boils my onions, is that, apparently EL KLINKO had a woody for SAGE for 2 years...finally realizes his wet dream via a trade, and now despite the SPICE man playing better than CARJACK...he may still give the job to TJ. i will support the VIKES no matter what, but, i will still rag on chrome dome because he refuses to give up on bucko, regardless of what others ( including players and analysts) say and how ineffective he is.

Most of your post I agree with. But as far as Jay Cutler goes, he was with ONE team. That team had a decent offense, with decent receivers. What he can do with his new team, is still a question. It's like when people were calling Culpepper a great QB, once upon a time. What it actually was, was Moss & Carter were great receivers.(Where's Pepp now, & what's HIS "stats"?/Where's Moss, & what's his?- Which would YOU want on your team?) I bet Denver will STILL have a decent offense.- What MN should've done, is trade C. Taylor & TJax for B. Quinn. Taylor's a damn good, versatile RB.
