Clay punishes UH - Hawaii Sports

There are 11 comments on the Honolulu Star-Bulletin story from Dec 6, 2009, titled Clay punishes UH - Hawaii Sports. In it, Honolulu Star-Bulletin reports that:

His name is clay, but he was rock solid again for Wisconsin. John Clay, a 6-foot-1, 248-pound sophomore, wriggled, battered and galloped his way to 172 yards and three touchdowns on 24 carries behind his mammoth offensive line as bowl-bound Wisconsin closed regular-season play with a 51-10 rout of Hawaii last night.

Congrats to the seniors and wish the best
for what your future holds. Coach Mac
has his work cut out for him next season and getting the right recruits might be a couple of seasons away. I don't expect next season would be dramatically
different from this year. It is hard when
alot of talented local players have the opportunity to play for the better mainland schools. Just look at the PAC 10 Rosters.

Reality sucks. The poor performance last night was topped by the coaching staff's reluctance to pull Moniz from the game. He had an off night compounded by the Badgers' defense. I was hoping to see Shane Austin in the 3rd quarter, but that never happened. I am disappointed in the coaching staff for not making the call.

Moniz is NOT a big time QB. He is a middle school QB and not more.

i dont think hawaii should schedule wisconsin anymore, its hard to stop their running game no matter whos running the ball, i just dont think we match up well with them, its a mismatch so why not schedule a team who we got a shot to beat

no scared wisconsin. just get a big lead early and force them out of their regular offense game plan. hawaii beat big 10 teams before. can it happen again. can.

Schedule more D-II teams, you'll feel better with the win and you can brag for an undefeated season, like a couple years ago.

The REAL punishment for UH football fans is that we have to suffer the heartburn of overpriced and rotten big Mac every game.
