I would like to know if E.J Henderson is healthy enough to play in the post-season?

Sure, it's going to be a tough game. And sure both teams are going to "give it their best shot". What I'd like to hear from coach is the additional: "But our "shot" is of a larger caliber", or something reflecting more optimism.- Part of the reason there's so many seats left at this point, at The Dome, is because of years of The Vikings biting the big one in December. Deep down, only about a quarter of us believe they'll advance beyond the usual "one-and-done". If they can go out there Sunday and make an IMPRESSIVE win, it'll make all the difference in the world. Something like the Arizona game.$h!tloads of fans & talking heads said MN would lose that game. I believe that if Frazier has the lads up to it, they can shut down Philly's offense. The thing that I'm worried about, is Philly's defense shutting down MN's. Revolving Door Cook needs to play his best game.(which means "adequate") Additionally, man, do I hope Pat can play...

EJ was placed on IR, which ended his season.

I see where you're going as the Vikings are lacking production at middle LB. Leber and Greenway have been terrific, but getting only two tackles from Harris against a running team doesn't cut it...he needs to get an attitude! His poor performance has been game in and game out.

NFL Rules state that players placed on the injured reserve are eligible to play in the post season which is not considered part of the regular season.

On another note
I get a laugh reading what all the so-called experts are saying about Philly's defense. Yes its good. Yes they blitz well. Yes they have a great secondary. Don't plan on doing a lot of passing.
Well what about Minnesota's offense? This team has been facing 8 and 9-man fronts for the past 2 years and still produced one of the most productive running games in the league. This team has been run-blitzed and pass-blitzed from just about every defensive configuration imaginable. This is nothing new. So why does it suddenly make such a difference? Just like every other team, the Eagle's defense will have to play the run first. They will have to stack the box. They will have to make the Vikings beat them with the passing game. What is new about this? It's every other teams game plan for the last 2 seasons. The difference? We are finally learning to beat those defenses! How? By passing the %*#$ing ball! We can win this game!
Yes, we can win. I think everybody has a surprise coming on Sunday. Childress knows this Eagles team through and through. He knows what Andy likes to do on offense and he knows exactly what the Eagles throw on defense. I think we will see Brad's best coached game of his tenure on Sunday. I don't believe it will be a blow-out, but I do believe we come out on top. We need to let Winfield and Griffin beat the hell out of their WRs at the line. Then we can put net around Westbrook and allow Jared and Kev time to get to Duh-novan.

i didn't know IR was only for the regular season and players could return for playoffs. E.J. is the man, and could definitely help us, but i am sure he not going to be ready...since when did dislocated toes become such a huge injury? marion barber was messed up for the last half of the season with one too. i guess turf toe can be career ending so those toes must be important!

We need to run the ball early & often against this team. The battle on the line of scrimmage is often a case of who wants it more. If we can pop some big runs early, that will set up the pass. When a team blitzes as much as the eagles do that tells me 2 things, 1) they can't stop the run consistently without doing it 2) they need to create turnovers to win They are much like the bears in that regard. Protect the ball, come out on top. Also we need to do some misdirection play calling, some reverses and things like that, maybe catch them in a blitz at the wrong time. I have a feeling that Andy Reid wont blitz as much as coach thinks he might for that very reason. They are going to play chess with each other all day.

If if I was the coach I would stay with the run all game, even if we aren't having much success with it. Eventually there will be daylight and that D will get tired of chasing AP & Chester around. We need to play vikings football and not fool ourselves. We are a RUN first pass 2nd offense. We haven't been the later since Cris (I'm the most arrogant person ever) Carter & Randy (we all miss you) Moss

Sunday should be an AP & Chester show. Good Luck boys!

On the other side of the ball, I think we should bump N run and blitz the living snot out of Donovan. You can't let a player like him 1) get out of the pocket (like dallas did) and 2) have too much time, because he will burn you

Frasier, learn to blitz the LBs (Leber blows in coverage) send him in the backfield

BIG PAT better not disappoint, we need him for this run. The giants game proved that.

Yes, and it would be great if Heath Farwell was well enough to come back on special teams. I don't know their statuses, but Pat sure is a gamer to want to come back with a broken shoulder. Ouch! Guy has a great team attitude. Skol Vikings!

You make some good points but the Eagles have been blitzing like this for years so it's not a new thing that they have trouble with the run. AP does scare me because I'm afraid the Lb's will key on him and overpursue. Overall it should be a good game.

Everyone keep saying we're gonna pass all over them once we establish the running game.
They have 2 probowl corners Dawkins & Asante Samuels who are no sluffs by any means.

We need big Pat back and to use set Chester up with screens out of the backfield, kinda like they do with Westbrook.
It should interesting seeing that both coaches know each others offense inside and out.

Andy is an offensive coach. In Philly, Brad was running Andy's offense. Brad's offense is different. I mean, he uses some West Coast stuff, so I'm sure there are similarities, but Brad is an old Wisconsin coach, who were all about run, run, run. Brad is run first coach, where Andy is all about airing it out. I think the advantage goes to the PURPLE on this one.
