Perhaps if suspended running back Ricky Williams were a run stopper instead of a run gainer, there would be more hoopla surrounding his letter of application for reinstatement to the NFL on Monday.

The guy can play. He is totally goofy and stuff but he runs like crazy and has more talent that 99 percent of the present Dolphin team, including all 3 draft choices who are sitting on the bench doing nothing.

There is nothing wrong with giving the guy a chance otherwise he and Randy Moss will be smoking weed together in New England, scoring 2 touchdowns per game each for the Pats while Belichick gets his kicks filming and videotaping glory holes at the Copley Plaza mens' toilets in downtown Boston.

Imagine if Ronnie Brown gets injured, he and Wes Welker were the only ones doing much last year and Brown is the only one this year.

OH, and I saw several Dolphins that were sent away by this coach playing and producing very well. Kevin Carter who was rejected by this coach and a run stopper, doing excellent. Sammy Morris, Wes Welker, David Bowens, etc. DON'T TELL ME THAT THIS COACH WAS HANDED ALL THESE PLAYERS BY SABAN. Mr. Cameron cleansed the team of people he did not want to make the team in his image.

I am not opposed to a coach having his own players but when you go in and just to start politicking and to pretend that you were handed a bunch of bad players and that only your kind are worthy of filling the roster, then I have a problem with it because it happens all the time in the corporate world where people are discarded without being allowed to compete, because they are the wrong color, height, sex, religion, crony club, etc. Cameron had to let a lot of players prove that they could not play and he just threw them out and brought in a worse bunch as evidenced and the defense which was good is pure manure.... the stench of manure fills the place, says MANWICH AND HIS GREEN LIZARD.

Is Jay Feely the official Dolphin spokeperson on Ricky Williams? STFU and try to get a touchback for once or just a halfway decent kickoff.

Okay, I'll post it again!!!

The only way to watch the Dolphins is while stoned, personnel decisions for over 15 years have been made by personnel people who appear to have been stoned, Ricky and Keith Richard could put together a killer United Way add about drug rehab centers that receive contributions----It is beyond perfect!!!

Come back Ricky----Playing behind this offensive line you will need to be stoned.

Bring Ricky Back. If the defense can not stop the other team from scoring we need to Score as much as possible. Ricky can score (on and off the field). Bring him back.

Hey Ricky - you've been around all night
And that's a little long.
You think you've got the right but I think you've got it wrong.
Why can't we say goodnight? So you can take me home
'cause when you say you will
it always means you won't.
You're givin' me the chills

please baby
ev'ry night you still
Leave me alone

Oh Ricky
what a pity you don't understand.
You take me by the heart when you take me by the hand.
Oh Ricky
you're so pretty
can't you understand.
It's guys like you
ooh what you do

don't break my heart
Ricky - now when you take me by the who's
Ever gonna know
and ev'ry time you move
You let a little more show.

There's something you can lose - so don't say no
So come on and give it to me anyway you can

Anyway you want to do it
I'll take it like a man.
But please
please don't leave me in this jam
Oh Ricky
what a pity you don't understand....
Oh Ricky
what a pity you don't understand....
Oh Ricky
what a pity you don't understand..

He might not be the best boyfriend but he can SCORE!!! Bring back Ricky.

Stop living in the past.
We apparently HAVE a running game. We just don't have QB, Defense, Special Teams, etc.

if the nfl will allow him back, which is doubtful, the dolphins might as well take him. lets get real. youre an 0-4 team that just got blown out by the lowly raiders. i dont really think the dolphins need to be comcerned about his effect on the teams morale or psyche. maybe they trade him for an extra draft pick and choose an offensive lineman with it.
Cam is brain dead i think

"You guys know it's been such a [long] process, if you let that wear you out you could see we've got pressing issues that we're getting taken care of," Cameron said. "Once the decision is made then we'll put our heads together and will come up with a decision."

What????? Huh????? Does any one part of this quote make sense???? Lordy, help the Miami Dolphins, they juct can't do or say anything right...

At this point, taking him back wouldnt help the team. It may help the offence, but so what? The defence is about as bad as i have seen it in years, even the Marino days. The colts run defence was bad to start last year, but not THIS bad! Ricky might want to go to a team like the Bills who have to play US 2 times a year, so he can get ALOT of yards in a short perioid of time. He can count on at least 400 yards against the fins! And that could all be in just 1 game!

CAM! Bring him back ASAP and let him return kicks, punts, relieve Ronnie on runs, short passes, etc. Get your money's worth. It's already invested in him! I'll be upset if they get rid of great football player like they did with Welker.

Rickey Williams screwed this team and this community over in so many ways it's disgusting.

Now he wants to screw them out of a first-round draft pick next season (Well, face it, that's where this season is going...)

If Williams wants to be a productive member of the community, he should take a page from Dan Marino's book...

And sell cars as a retired NFL player.

Maybe on one of those "Buy Here, Pay Here" lots. He can do collections. Hey! How about a promotion that goes like "If you can outrun Rickey, you can keep the car for free!" Loads of potential.

Anywhere else but the NFL. Hey Rickey think of NFL as standing for "Not For Losers"...

I agree, bring him back. At least they win when he's on the roster. So much for Cameron's men of character, who only know how to lose.

I just read where if he is re-instated, it take up to 60 days for the paperwork to get done. he'll have failed another test by then.

If they have had this much bad luck with him, when is it time to stop "giving a brother a hand"? WHat ever he has done to get himself into this mess, he will do again. "let this cup pass"!
