are we really talking about the playoffs already? we still gotta win one more game against tough opposition.

Jim Mora said it best. It cracks me up everytime I hear him squawk Playoffs?!! Anyway, Big Pat will surely be missed against Atl. Fred and Letroy should be fresh. I wonder how BRobison's knee is doing. It was stupid playing him last week. The Doc who cleared him 1 week after surgery is an idiot. Kevin will have his work cut out as will the LB core, especially Harris if he sees the field. The Defense looked great against the pass happy Cards and Harris was not on the field... Erin Henderson got some valuable PT last week and made a couple nice plays.. I would rather see him in there then Harris.. Leber and Greenway need to stay sharp. Let's Go Vikes!! Kick them dirty @ss birds in the tail feathers!

Could not agree more, shut up about the playoffs until it's a done deal. I did see that Atlanta is 3-4 away from home, and we have matched up well with the Giants over the last couple years. Also, some are saying that Chicago has a weak schedule, but I don't buy it. Playing GB at home and a hot Houston team away is not exactly going to be a cakewalk. All positives for the Vikes. Just looking at all the possibilities to reach...dare I say...the playoffs.

Yeah, that Greenway's one tough MF, I'll say that. Fun to watch when he sacks a QB. Really puts the wack on 'em. Looks like a express train hitting a car. They're better with Pat, but they'll be okay Sunday. I think TJax will be okay. Man, I hope so. I KNOW the "D" is kick-arse, and MN's RBs are better. Hope The Dome just roars!

Big Pat has been platooned a lot this year, so hopefully his absence will not be back breaking. This game will offer a stiff test, but all the Vikings have to do is watch the 98 game for inspiration. Take a knee before half, I could still kick Denny right in the crack for that one.

They better focus on this Falcons game because it is probably going to be the easier of the two. Especially if the Giants lose and need a win against the vikes to secure the first round bye!!!

Hypothetically speaking.... If the Vikes win out and the Giants lose out Will the Vikes get the second seed? Both 11-5 and Vikes with head to head? Now that's some incentive.. A bye week and a home playoff nice... Cmon Carolina

Da Crusher is mad. Dis could be one of the best NFL games dis weekend to watch and den I see dat damn FOX decided to show nationally some udder game. I would love to see dese two teams play, but I ain't anywhere near the Twin Cities down here in Southern California. Two great running backs, two young quarterbacks, a team in Atlanta that has survived some awful crap with coaches and dat Vick and den the Vikes who seem to have der season going in the right direction finally. It should be a great game and I can't see it.
And don't some smart arse tell me to fly back to the Twin Cities and leave warm, dry weather to go back to dat frozen wasteland I call home in da summertime. He'll get one of my Bolo Punches right in da schnauzer.
I'll just suffer in peace, or play golf.
Da Crusher has spoke. Maybe I'll Bolo Punch dem idiots at FOX.

That sucking sound is actually from the Packer Fans who were Viking Fans trying to get back on the bandwagon.

I hope Pat and Kevin and the other players succeed in their court case. I think the NFL showed very poor judgement in the way they handled things. I absolutely oppose the use of performance enhancing drugs but I think all knowledgeable fans know that didn't happen in this case.

I think so. I read a caption on espn that said a Vikings loss gives the Giants a first round bye. I guess we would both be 11-3 and the Vikes would have the head-to-head tie breaker. Better win that Falcons game first!

granted he is an excellent ballplayer and it sounds like a good father, but, breaking the rules on purpose or accidentally makes him guilty and he must pay the price
