Judge Rules In Favor of NFL Over Vikings D Linemen

There are 63 comments on the Bleacher Report story from May 6, 2010, titled Judge Rules In Favor of NFL Over Vikings D Linemen. In it, Bleacher Report reports that:

My, oh my how things may be different for the Minnesota Vikings this year. If Brett Favre chooses to retire, the Vikings will have to not only be forced to rely on Tarvaris Jackson at quarterback, but they will also have to play without starting defensive tackles, Kevin and Pat Williams.

Miami and the Lions are very beatable without the Wall but N.O. and the Jets will be a taller task, Offense has to bring their A game to beat those two teams if THE WALL is suspended.

vikes were tough last year and will be improved this season. they have the backups who can get it done. vikes can score points, its the dbacks giving up too many big plays that beat 'em. i said it before and i'll say it again. those mountainous offensive lineman just cant keep up with the pass rushers who rely on speed to get to the qb. go with the shorter quicker guys who can get leverage and push guys around to open up lanes for the rb's. secondary improvement and run blocking improvement for this team means no losses. vikes all the way baby

dont forget how many turnovers the vikes had and it still took OT for the saints to beat them by a measely 3 points. it still makes me naucous. the offense will score, the defense needs to bring the A game and the vikes will continue domination

The Brett Farve saga will be interesting this year- the guy is superhumanly tough- but another surgery? He ran like he was wearing cinderblock boots last year, what would he be like this year post surgery? So much hinges on this guy...

That was my point Dog, Offense cannot turn it over like last year aginst these guys, I really thought the Wall was gonna beat this gig, this is a setback, but Vikes should still be OK.

vikes will be fine without favre. if he hangs it up so be it.. it was fun to watch but he couldnt possibly equal what he did last year. so they lost in the end but it was a great fun season with lots of wins to celebrate. guy is starting to look like brad johnson only with a stronger arm. Get someone younger and more mobile in there. give jackson his shot and see what the guy can do. otherwise put sage in there to perform his dazzling spin routines. either way the vikes will win baby

That was a great year- made all the better by having Farve on our side, playing brilliantly. I hope that T-Jack can at least play well enough- with the weapons at his disposal he ought to be able to.

Gonna be interesting for sure! Go Vikings!!!

I know buddy, that was a hurtpiece. Do you really think BF may retire? I hope he gets 2 more years in as long as he played like he did last year. What an opener huh, could you ask for a better opponent than the Saints? Revenge is so sweet.

Vikes 0-4 to start the year, season over before it began. The division reign is done @ 2. Hope you all have the video. Im telling you all the Bears will slide right on by. Were playing TWICE in Dallas this year.

With Brett you never know. Should check the Vegas betting line on it! Bulldog has a point- it would be awfully tough for him to have another great year like last- he was the best I have ever seen him last year despite running in slo-mo.

Can't wait for the Saints game for a measure of revenge, I know the Vikings are a better team, the Saints are a pack of thugs that were obviously told by their coaches to go after Farve to injure him...

Miami has a superb running game with Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams. Without the Wall, I would be surprised if the Vikings win that game.

Come on Daryl, Vikes were 2nd in the league in scoring last year, we shouldn't have a problem outscoring Miami, but I do agree, their running game is very good, I am a big fan of R Brown, I think he is a real asset for MIAMI.
