If the Dodgers are smart they would look to sign a veteran pitcher. Also don't let Furcal leave. I'm sure they are looking at both. I've been a Dodgers fans since the 50's. I am not for paying high bucks like the Yankees just did. But in order to be competitive you have to give in a little.

And the silence of questions from writers or reporters to McCourt, Colletti and Logan keeps fans counting on only one thing...the team must be out of cash, out of ideas and not a major league anything on any level....including the reporting.

I'm a perfect fit for the McCourts and Colletti. I'm a 62 year old shortstop who will sign for the MLB minimum. My range is limited to where I'm standing and my defense is better then my offense. Second thought I don't want to watch this mess of a team in person for 162 games so withdraw my offer.

I HAVE LOVED THE LOS ANGELES DODGERS SINCE BIRTH. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY WE ARE NOT TRYING TO PUT A CHAMPIONSHIP CALIBER TEAM TOGETHER AND MAKE SURE THAT WHAT HAPPENED TO THE DODGERS THIS 2008 POSTSEASON DOES NOT HAPPEN AGAIN. I WOULD LIKE FOR MR. MCCOURT AND MR. COLLETI TO HAVE A SIMILAR MENTALITY TO THAT OF THE LAKERS AND THAT IS TO TRY TO WIN OR COMPETE FOR A TITLE EACH AND EVERY YEAR BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES DESERVES, EXPECTS AND DEMAMDS EVERY YEAR.
