I think we did pretty good with the draft but only time will tell.Im excited to see how Gerharts going to turn out and Ive read many positive articles about Chris cook and Everson Griffin.Dont know much about Degeare.Dont know what will happen with the rest with limited roster spots but I like Joe Webb.I thinking hes got that winning mentality.Joe Kapp wasnt the best quarterback but he found a way to win.Thats what tjack lacks.

Me too, Gerhart could complement AP real well, kinda like the Harris/Bleier thing the Steelers had in the 70's maybe. AP has gotta stay healthy though, he goes down and there goes the ground game.

Last season we had Taylor to step in that role as starter if needed, this year the Vikes have a bunch of question marks behind AP, so it is IMPERATIVE he stays healthy.

It will be interesting to see the final roster. Its obvious that some players from last year arent going to be here this year. With the addition of Rhys Loyd and Everson Griffen and Chris Cook thats three spots right there.Oh and I forgot Lito Sheppard.Theres going to be a big axe this year.

The positive articles were written by 40 and Eric 113. Sorry that you were scammed.

Another reason he won't is because AD has had some of his best games against the Bears.

Yes, he only lost 2 fumbles last game against the Bears and didnt have a 100yd game vs. the Bears last year. They dont call him "hands of stone" for nothing

Fumbles AP likes to score 3 TD's and have 2 fumbles only to lose the game

He only had one fumble in the last meeting and it cost the Vikings the game.

Peterson's rushing yards were down last year but his receiving yards were way up. He ran for 18 TD's, a career high. Two against the Bears in that last game. He has one or more rushing TD's in every game against Chicago. In fact, teams have to pray he fumbles. It's the only way they can stop him which equates to....he stops himself actually.

When he ran for that 224 and three scores against the Bears in 07', his second best output ever, one of the main reasons it happened is because everyone on the defense was going for the ball instead of trying to tackle him.

Again, good luck Bears, NFC north and, NFL in general 'cause when we get back there this year and if the refs don't throw flags for pass interference on uncatchable balls and give controversial first downs to teams that fumble the ball like they did for N.O. in overtime....your all in trouble.

I'm pulling for Gerhart, the BEST pick to complement Peterson was JAVID. Our Vikings brain trust tried to get cute, trade down and F**K UP!

Kapp's Career stats
TD-INT 40-64
Yards 5,911
QB Rating 55.1

I like Joe but lets not romanize his less than mediocre place in Vikings Quarterback history.

There goes another Viking fan blaming the refs, and if we dont fumble, and if Brett doesnt throw another interception..........and on and on and on and on

I merely used Kapp as an example of winning mentality. You know what he did with those stats.Joe Webb could a really good quarterback. You have to go into the game thinking youre going to win.
