Minnesota Vikings: Why Everson Griffen Should Be Traded

However, if I thought the 2012 Vikings could flirt with .500, I'd probably be losing sleep over Michael Jenkins starting opposite Percy Harvin.

Nope, can't agree. Griffen needs to be put to use, maybe even MLB. But, like Webb, Griffen will be lost in the shuffle and wasted. With his speed and size, why not use him like a OLB, move either Greenway or Henderson to MLB. Do our coaches even have the slightest clue?

Wouldn't trade him for a 3rd, good D-Ends are hard to come by. I'd trade the entire D secondary for a third though....

Griffin is 2nd in Vikings history in forced fumbles by a defensive back With 10 trailing only legendary hitter Joey Browner and tied with Antoine Winfield. Last year Griffin had 67 tackles 379 career tackles from 2006 to 2011 I would try & to get more for him But I wouldnt trade him for no less then a third round pick.

Ummm, set me straight ez, is that 2nd in Vikings forced fumbles right? And the 379 career tackles including college? Because Everson Griffen was a 2010 4th round pick. Are you sure you are thinking of the right person? At any rate, from what I seen of him last season, I think the Vikes should keep him and plug him in at defensive end a little more often. The guy seems to play like a beast.
