I wouldn't be teasing us about the injury while your boy was on the cover on Madden this season. We all know on how long that curse has been going on.

Didn't Donald Thomas own the Dolphins at one time?? Kind of old to be a rookie.....
You must mean Danny Thomas, the old actor. Yes he funded the team with Joe Robbie initially, but sold out soon after.

Well, that seems to explain, in part, the O Lines poor performance. Maybe this kid they just signed will be just as good as Thomas, who is afterall, or was, just a rookie. The new guy has some experience so he can't be that much of a drop off?

AND, he'll learn the entire playbook by Sunday! One more reason to never trust agents.

Who cares this is a rookie that had preference because he graduated from Sparano's Alma Mater not because of talent, we are talking about a right guard, he along with Long and Satele struggled against the blitz and overall performance was below average.

It was Danny Thomas (the perfomer) who once owned a piece of the Fins, not Donald Thomas.

I was at those games back in '66...

All is not lost, it is just game 1. Maybe this will bring a blessing in disguise.
Rememebr, the year this Mathis guy was on Hennings o-line, was the year the Panthers played the PATS in the SB right? They had a pretty good running game, with RB's less talented than Ricky and Ronnie IMO. AND we will have Thomas back next year.

Anyone know what the injury is? is it a torn ligament? Broken bone? Achilles? Just curious. I see where it says injured ankle. No details though. If he is to miss the whole year, it must be more than an injured ankle.

Ahhh so. Now I see why the right OL was struggling on Sunday. Thomas was a fairy tale that turned into a pumpkin- in the 2nd quarter. Why can't we ever catch a break?.

I will continue to cheer for them, though. True fans do that.

Good question... I was wondering the same thing. I have yet to hear any specifics as well. Maybe tomorrow?
