Headline wants to know who will be back next year. Interesting that no one seems to worry about the fan.

As a Jets fan for 28 years, and now an ex-Jets fan as of 2007, I no longer care, I will not be back year.

I have been waiting for "next year" ever since I became a fan and went to every home game in the early '80's and then ever since to at least one or two a year. I had to go through Joe Walton, Kotite, Coslet years, Edwards, one incompetent coach after another. We had a glimmer of hope with Parcells and had Belicheat for 12 seconds.

The Jets are not a professional organization, never were, playing home games in someone else's stadium, how silly is that?

I am not coming back, and I don't care who else does.
JETS will suck for a long, long, time.

I will now root for the team whose stadium the Jets play in, Go Giants!

give me a break...we dont need fans like you!! you have been rooting for the Jets since the early 80's...did you forget they went to the AFC championship in '82, made the playoffs in '85 and '86 (which they won a few games)...so you must of became a fan in '82 when they were winning...now that they are losing you are turning your back....granted, we have had some bad years, but under Herman dwards we made the playoffs 3 out of 5, under Coslet we made the playoffs with O'Brien as QB, under Walton we made two playoff appearences...just a little Jets history for a frontrunner

i wish they were staying at Hofstra.
It seems there a NJ team now with
Woody as owner. Going to Jersey is such a drag and a waste of time. But
I hope things turn around and I regret
Chad was not more sucessful for he
always acted very professional. there
a tough team to root for but even a tougher team to forsake. Mangini has to be bewildered! Go Jets!

Mangini should probably be going...if Tuna came back here instead of Miami he would clean out this inept coaching staff. This team better get it's act together as the Fins, with a total makeover under the Tuna will eat their lunch.

Agree with Hugh. I live in AZ and for the first time stopped paying attention to team. I spent every Sunday for 15 years finding a sports bar where I could root them on with other ex-NYers. No more, I'm done. Greyhound, yes we had some good years, but no great years, and none that I can see in the future. This teams future is no better than the Cardinals future, sorry to say.

The only guy on the team that should be shown the door right now (before the last game) is Justin McCarens.

I agree with you in reference to standing by your team, BUT that whole thing about Herm Edwards taking us to the playoffs 3 times, well are you kidding me??? This guy was riding on the success of a Bill Parcells built team. He and Paul "Can't" Hackett destroyed everything that Parcells built in a few years. And now he's doing it with KC. Please! This guy was a nightmare. He took a Championship caliber team and destroyed them in just a few seasons. And, as for Coslet, that was a disaster in its own right. Ken O’Brien was the biggest joke of all. I can't believe they picked him over Marino, Elway and I believe Kelly as well. Oh wait, I can believe it because they are the J-E-T-S Just End The Season Jets! Here are two things that they should do soon. One, get someone like Parcells once again. Someone who will stick around this time or they will go down in history as the worst franchise ever. And two, move back to New York because as of right now the only true New York team is the Buffalo Bills.

Hugh G. Rection, hope I spoke for all Jets fans in saying that we don't need fans like you and you don't deserve to call yourself a Jets fan. Yes, times are bad right now. Yes, this franchise has certainly seen it's share of bad years (more than most teams). Just please don't jump back on the bandwagon when times are good again, whenever that may be. Green and White till the bitter end!!!
