Time to throw the kid into the mix. This season is over except for playing out the final 10 games.

What I don't get is all the people I hear in the media talking about 'giving up" on the season if you make the change. How many fewer wins can we get? How many fewer touchdowns are we going to score than 1 offensive touchdown in 7 quarters?
It's time to see what we have in Clemens.

noodle arm is not cutting it with those folly floaters that can`t reach the recievers. my daughter can throw harder and longer than chad ! we need a QB that can utilize his recievers using the whole field . not just out to 10-15 yards ! he may be a rhodes scholar and smart as hell , but god did`nt bless chad with a cannon for an arm ! this team needs a spark . tired of watching drives end in field goals, can`t win that way !!

Chad Pennington is a BUM, and Eric mangini is starting to look the same way. Unless he benches Chad, his job should be next in line for dismissal.!!!!!!!!!

Every season Chad seems to have have 3 game, or so, "slump" then puts it together and gets better. Why does he seem to play better after getting heavily crticized with his job on the line, even when he was injured? He seems to need to get motivated to play better.
Also, he didn't look this bad last year at all. Is he hurting, or is the shoulder just wearing down? It could be that without an off season of therapy the shoulder just isn't holding up.

Losing is not always the Quarterback, and unfortunately Mangini is probably making that decision because he is the best quarterback on the roster, he is the one who sees practice day in and day out. The part that Jets fans need to realize is that Eric is no Mangenius, one mediocre season does not a genius make.He is a rat fink who gained his success off of whatever methods Bill B. used and as soon as he gets his own job he rats him out after Bill B. made him who he is today. That doesn't sound like a very good person to me.

1-6... the season is over, as far as the play-offs go. Play Clemons, see what you have so in the offseason you know whether you need to go out and get a QB or if you have one... Pennington is clearly not going to help the Jets win games... he can't throw the ball with any zip, and defenders just sit back and wait for the floater to come thier way... Give Chad a headset and a clipboard and let him help Clemons with schemes and reads and whatnot... that's the way to go... I'd also consider any trade offers for Pennington... you can always sign another veteran QB to play back-up...
