Wink Wink Oh I got it Eric. Good play action fakes yeah you are saying without saying that you are tanking the season for the best draft pick. NFL gets more like the NBA, unwatchable.

The Mangenius coins a new phrase: "It's not like just going to AAMCO, you can't just take out the spark plug." Doesn't he know that AAMCO fixes transmissions and transmissions don't have spark plugs?

Look at thte facts. Any defense the Jets play, knows they can stay within 10 yards of scrimage. Basically, 11 men in the box, because they all know Chad can not throw down field beyond those 10 yards. Let's be nice to Chad and thank him for his effort, but now is the time to see whether or not Clemmens can do the job. Put Clemmens in the rest of the way, and determine if you need to draft a Qb, or utilize what Clemmens can do. Loyalty is certainly important, but strecthing the field with a capable arm, is also loyal to the team, and may even provide a couple of wins. Let's not forget the fans who pay your salaries, and we are tired of conservative loses, just because Chad is a great character guy.
Let's go Jets!!!

Larry, at least your argument makes sense. Some fellow Jet fans will call Mike and the Dog, or Joe Beningo, and they act like Clemens is the second coming of Tom Brady. "He's got a gun for an arm," they say. So did Browning Nagle, and what did that get us? Squat. Chad's got limitations, obviously. But if we are not content to write off the season just yet,(and it's critical) then a change for change's sake would be counter-productive.

We need to find out if we have a Toni Romo in our hands! Let's see what Clemens is made of and then decide if he's the answer or not. Why wait until next year for Clemens? Maybe Mangini knows that there are no potential stud quarterbacks in the upcoming draft and has this year to be loyal to Chad. We don't need another Willie Randolph as our football coach...enough said!!!

I agree - we need to find out if Clemens is the guy now. Brian Brohm and Colt Brennan are both in the draft this year and if you have seen Brohm play against Cincy last week, you would see that he has NFL written all over him. He single-handedly led that team to victory with ridiculously accurate throws 40-50 yards down the field on a line against NFL-caliber DBs.

If Clemens is a no-go, than we need to draft a QB. If he proves to be a winner, than we get some OL / DL help.

Unfortunately for the Jets, they have too much competition this year for the best draft pick. As bad as this season is going for the Jets, they would have to become downright putrid to out-lose the likes of
Miami, Buffalo, the Rams, etc.
BY the way, thanks for stealing Mangenius, the league’s best stool pidgeon, away from the Pats!
