The issue is not whether or not WVU can score on this defense. The issue will be how much they will score. Unfortunately, that's not the only issue. The other involves the obvious question, "Will the Mountaineers make fewer mistakes, and score more pts, than Louisville?" On Thursday night we'll all get the answer. Go Mountaineers!!!

Crow, I’m actually sorry you feel that way, not to mention any other fans who feel the same way. Steve Kragthorp is one heck of a coach, as in Head Coach or Offensive Coordinator. Unfortunately, he don’t know “jack” about running a defense. Apparently, neither does his Defensive Coordinator. Not to mention, this is his 1st year with the Cardinals. He and Brohm may be getting along, but the rest of the team still has to buy into his style of play. All too often, that takes a season or two. Just look at what’s going on at Pitt with Wanndstedt and Syracuse with Robinson. Willingham is still struggling at Washington. Give the man a chance. If nothing else, take solace knowing things could be a lot worse. You could be a Nebraska fan. Imagine their pain and frustration with Callahan. Things will get better; you’ll see. (You'll pardon me, if I prefer that not happen Thursday night.)

As a Cards fan and not yet ready to throw Kragthorpe under the bus supporter, I should be offended by this but by the time I stopped laughing I forgot to be indignant. I Suggest WVU run draw plays untill we stop them, it worked very well for Pitt on the last drive. Also you had better get an extra dead bolt for your door because Huggin's recruits will soon be in town.

And with the O they have they may give us some trouble Thurs night.

Hopefully he will right things, what I do know is that to fire him or run him out of town after 1 season is absolutely insane. Who would ever want to come try to "build" a program but only be given 1 year! I just hope its a good game, I think our defense will make your O look like the Patriots.

If you can't have a good sense of humor your going to have a pretty miserable life IMO.

Actually I've gotten along pretty well with all the UL fans that I've met too. Maybe it's a Big East thing. I don't know. I got drunk with a guy from Louisville in DC not too long ago. You would think with the two teams recent history that we wouldn't get along. Maybe it is a regional thing instead of a Big East thing. For this week though. If your not in Gold your the enemy. We can be friends Fri. Something is telling me that this one is going to be another classic. I think UL is taking VTs place as a WVU rival and they will have classics for years to come.

Most of us really have enjoyed the past 5-6 years of football but don't really take it so seriously that there is annimosity towards other BE team (except of course UConn!). Everyone seems to be very greatful to be a part of the big east, it has vastly improved the basketball schedule and given us the opportunity to go to a BCS game, with that in mind most of us cheer for BE teams to prosper (except of couse UConn) throughout the season. And I am joking about UConn (mostly).

I was the guest of several Louisville fans at last year's game (business travel sometimes has its perks). While there was some good-natured razzing, the Louisville fans were very nice, and treated me quite well. And told me lots of stories of how Morgantown was not as nice as they were (well, it's actually true, that Puskar has a, shall we say, home-field advantage). As many say above, Louisville is not dealing with Bill Callahan. And if their AD is the least bit smart, they won't be testing that theory. Let him work his system... or else take Petrino back when he decides that Atlanta isn't paradise with no QB and no water.

I've yet to have a problem with any of them. The anomosity for this game is coming from the WVU side because of some things the Louisville program did last year. They wouldn't shake hands with our captains before the game, and they didn't give the WVU band any time to play on the field.(An agreement made the year before in Morgantown when WVU allowed the Cardinal band to perform) Milan Puskar is gonna be rockin tonight I guarantee it. I say UL will show up and make a good game of it too. Maybe another shootout???

Pat White would be a pretty good QB if he could only throw the ball...just joking. We are toast, the defense has actually played pretty well but I think will run out of gas in the 3rd quarter. Eeeeeeer fans....raise a glass of moonshine and ignite a couch for me, but clear of the inferno, burning plastics emmit cyanide!!!
