He'll get an offer from the Dolphins that will be "Take it or Leave it". Parcells will not negotiate with this fool through the newspaper, and this article will cost him when the time comes. When he was drafted, he was so stupid he couldn't even play in practice. I hope we keep him because he HAS worked hard, but he's payed millions already to do just that. He is a TACKLE, not a CPA.

Avearage at best. It took him a few years to be that. Not worth mega bucks. No big loss if he leaves.

I hope there is a way yo keep Vernon on the team, since he is a class act. He is not a great offensive lineman though. He is a good lineman that gives you depth. I wonder if he might not be better suited to play guard?

They should keep him. Good person, good for the community down there. And he is a damn good player. Doubt they will get someone better anyway. May as well do what is needed to keep him on the team.

They should definitely resign him. If Long as a rookie walks in and gets paid like that, Carrey should get paid as well. In a press conference with Sporano he was asked who is best run blockers are. He responded quickly saying Long and Carrey. Parcells builds team from the inside out. Letting Carrey go would be counter productive to that. There is no guarantee he can be replaced quickly. The Phins will not have the first pick this year.

Considering the lack of depth, it would make sense to resign him if he doesn't try to raise his value through the media. Parcells doesn't like to be intimidated. I hope drew rosenhaus isn't his agent.

This guys looking for a fat paycheck, similiar to Todd Wade who moved on and didn't perform to his salary level.
He'd make a good backup swingman, the Dolphins need a stud at right tackle right guard and center. Look what Kevin Mawae has done for the Titans. He wanted to play for Miami, but Saban refused to pay him.

The guy never complained, He's been switched on the line a couple of times and has played a notch above average each time. Pay him 21 million over 3 years and build the chemistry the OL needs plus we have the added depth knowing he can play both tackle position if need be.
In the mean time get a high draft pick that can challenge him for playing time. In 3 years we have a even more dominate line where we can let the older players go who are demanding big bucks. The trenches is where the game is won.

I do not believe he will get the kind of money he is thinking, but it will be close. No other team will pay what he is thinkning either.

I think carey stays. You need to quality tackles in this league.

Defenly resign Carey. He is only of the few draft choices we did a good job that Saban and Wanny did. He is top with Bell.

Both teams suck. Jets lose to the sorry Seahags and the mighty Dolphins play a scoring fest with a 2-11 team and their rookie QB. Anyone from the AFC Least will never see the Super Bowl, greatest embarrassment in NFL history, cant wait to watch it happen!

Over achievers..."But we made the playoffs"...ok, lmao.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Leo

The atmosphere is highly combustible today, with people getting in a stew over the smallest little thing. You will also have a tendency to get hot under the collar, especially if someone isn't doing things as quickly as you'd like. Try to stop yourself getting in a rage because once that happens it will be difficult to cool down again. Maybe you need some fresh air?
