Bieniemy and Colorado: Childress said the search committee that the University of Colorado hired to find a new head football coach contacted him about Vikings running backs coach Eric Bieniemy. Childress said. "He's an excellent people person. Great, great teacher of offensive football. We'd hate to lose him, but certainly if he has that opportunity, it would be hard to hold him back."

In a separate report Childress noted that no seach committee at any level has demostrated any interest in him. Apparently that's because he is a horrible people person and an embarrassingly lousy teacher of offensive football. Player's were quoted as saying "we hate that loser and it wouldn't be hard to kick him in the backside if the opportunity should arise".

Real fans don't Boo! The most RIDICULOUS thing I heard at the Cardinal's game were fans booing the moment something didn't go their way. I want to point out that THOSE were the fans who exited the dome prior to the ROARING rally from those of us who BLEED purple and shouted life back into the last 4 minutes of that game. I have YET to see a home game that wasn't won by the fans inspiring the defense inspiring the offense. I JUST got my voice back from the Cardinals game. My 14 yo daughter even lost her voice! Skol Vikings! Never Quit! Never Die! I'm ASHAMED Jared had to ask such a thing! Trash the Packers on Sunday, Jared! This season IS NOT OVER! Purple People Pride!

Once again, troll packer "fans" who say they hate the Vikings yet can't stop reading about them or commenting on their stories. Do you spend this much time on the Milwaukee sentinel or do you secretly love talking about the Vikings that much?'cause quite frankly I love the Vikings, have ever since I moved here. I have a strong respectful dislike for the packers and especially their "fans" however I could care less about reading about them and even more so commenting on their team. Take the hint, maybe I'll spell it out for you later.

O yeah #69? How much do you get paid? I get paid about 45k a year! And the tickets n everything else add up quick! This is money I could spent elsewhere or save! I choose to come downtown and watch the games. You think that is disrespectful to booo? Flip me half you game check and I will never booo the rest of the season! Shut up and play harder! Disgusting!

i would never boo the vikings, but i would call for the firing of childress. in fact, thats what i encourage people to do. don't boycott the game or boo at the team, rather go to the game and bring your 'fire childress' signs and chat the same.

How can a guy with a 14-year-old daughter think like a 12-year-old.

Hey Jared -

Play some dam ball and we won't boo. Do your freaking job and we won't boo. Or, give us free tickets to the game and we won't boo. The people who boo want value for what they spend their hard earned money on. It's classic economic principals that apply here...dipsh it!

Don't tell me what to do or not to do. I don't tell you that you're being paid millions to find a quarterback once in a while.

To guru...there isn't anything on t.v. that's as entertaining as this soap opera. You sure can't blame a packer fan for enjoying the rollercoaster ride you guys are on.

Is it a lost season when one of your team's (overpaid, under achieving) "stars" needs to ask the salary paying customers not to boo? Maybe the NFL should start giving out participation medals like my daughters soccer team does. Everyone is a winner and no hurt feelings.

If I was lucky enough to be at the game, I wouldn't be booing at the start. But if this team continues to shit the bed like they have all year, I'd have no problem switching to the darkside, especially if I had a few beverages in me.

Anyways fellas, go get em' this weekend, we need this one to salvage a little respect within the division.

Defensive end Jared Allen is asking politely for fans to help the Vikings on Sunday not drown out momentum with boos out of distaste for their 3-6 record.

"I know we haven't won, but we've given you some good years the last couple years, too," Allen said. "At home, the crowd is going, you've got that energy. It evens the playing field a little bit."

It evens the playing field a bit???? That does not sound right… It sounds as if he were saying that the Vikes are weaker then the opponent and this huge advantage for the Vikings makes things equal. I guess that explains the road games them…. Ouch

ive been a Viking fan for a long time, over 40 years. I live in Southern California and Viking fans are few here, Jared are you going to come to my work and take all the crap I take (weekly) for rooting for you. We Viking fans are fed up with all the B.S. from you guys on and off the field, It's time for you to put up or shut up. Players are only around for a short time, fans are here for the long haul. We have all the right in the world to boo you. you need to remember who really pays you.......the fans. Think of the booing as a bad evaluation of your job performance. What can you do to become a better employee?

The boos will be for Klinks inability to coach, not the team.
