A 7th rounder is better than nothing, but too bad our two first round picks in 2005 got us no better than a 6th and 7th round draft pick in return.

It does makes you wonder how the press can manipulate information. Just a couple weeks ago a story was written about James coming back from knee surgery and contributing this year...

He might be able to play some later in the season, but now we have to make space on the roster and salary cap.

I also imagine (this is speculation) that Vikings coaches are concerned about his health during the coming years.

Nice!

Boy, that '05 draft is looking better each day!

Lemme see... We got picks in the 6th and 7th rounds for our two first rounders, and a backup guard who sucks almost as much as Green Bay and will likely be cut this year!

Wait a minute.. THAT SUCKS!

Thank God we have Wilf and Childress running this show now. I for one am a big fan of both.

In any case, good luck to Erasmus James in Washington. Hope he can get things going there.

Well, we got something for him at least. Nice bit of back-peddaling by the Brass. I'm willing to bet he'll make the roster, especially since he's familiar with the D-line coach.

Well, Im glad we rescinded our release and can get a 7th round draft pick for another bust of a first round pick. I think we need to just start trading our future first round draft picks for players we need.

I agree with my friend Green Bay Sucks that Terry is a fricken moron. Tjack will be fine, give him a grow into the job. Brady didn't start til his third year in the league and that worked out well for the patriots.

Tjack should be worth at least a 6th rounder, although I am assuming that he would be used to contribute on special teams as well.

I think the Vikes might have jumped the gun getting rid of Erasmus, but we'll see later on if it works out for him as well as all parties involved.
In his younger days he would blow off the line and be in the Qb's face so fast nobody could react to him. Now, I'm sure hes been slowed down bigtime with his injuries, so its worth the draft pick if you ask me.
