It seems that no maater what the sport happens to be, the Denver teams are the Rodney Dangerfields of the sports world. This is especially true with the east coast writers and sports casters. For some reason, the "thin air" of Colorado makes all of our teams not to be believed.
I really like the comments of ex-players who were on teams which were beaten by Denver. They hate to see a Colorado win at anything. |

Who is this "Temple3" clown? If my Bears (who suck, BTW) can beat Pittsburgh, I have a feeling that the Broncos will certainly smack 'em!
I've always been an Orton fan, and he was never treated well in Chicago, so I'm glad that's working out for him AND Broncos nation! GO KYLE, AND GO DONKEYS! (Christ, I guess I'm a Bronco fan now!!) |

THose of us who live in Colorado have been saying the following after every game,"WHO ARE THESE GUYS ANYWAY?" The only players on the Broncos that look familiar to US are the wonderful Mr. Dumervil and that hot headed tight end who didn't really want to stay with the team UNTIL he found out they are WINNERS! He should be glad the team let him hang around. They gave Mr. Culter the boot and good riddnace to the whiney ass ego maniac. The Bears can have him, we will take Mr. Orton any day. The reason the BRONCOS are winning is because they are playing as a TEAM! They come out every week and play their HEARTS out and find a way to WIN. We LOVE them here in Colorado and we will LEARN their names just like we did wiht Tyrell Davis, John Elway, and Randy Gradishar. You get respect in the NFL because you EARN respect. |

When the Orton/Cutler trade went through, we had quite a few Broncos fans chatting with us via Topix. They wanted to know "Who is this Orton guy??" My response was that you guys got a big (6'4" I think), athletic guy who was voted team captain by his teammates, a guy who patiently sat on the sidelines while "Wrecks" Grossman stunk the place up. During his Chicago bench time, he was inseparable from Brian Griese's side, and Griese took Orton under his wing...you are seeing the results of this education in Denver, I can see how Orton's style has changed. A lot of Bears fans were pissed when Orton was pulled in his rookie career...he had crap numbers, but the team was winning under his guidance! But NOOOO, Jerry Angelo and Lovie Smith had to have their love-child Grossman back in. The rest, as we say, is history. This is a great site: http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players... Broncos have an excellent offensive line, something Orton never had, some real skills at WR (glad that Marshall and McDaniels made up, eh?) and a lot of tools in the toolbox! You guys look like you are easily playoffs bound, I hope you go all the way with Orton. Bears have so many problems right now, it is difficult to watch them melt down every Sunday. McDaniels pissed off a few folks, but hang in there with the guy, I like his spirit and drive! Go Broncos!! |
