Eli Manning is no longer living in the shadow of his big brother. Far from it. The New York Giants quarterback enters the kickoff to the NFL season against the Dallas Cowboys on Wednesday night as a two-time Super Bowl MVP.

His "elite status" was the product of 2 fluke catches, not being a GREAT QB as we saw last year and yesterday
Catch 1: David Tyree against the Pats in the SB pinning the ball against his helmet.
Catch 2: Mario Slammingham catching and holding on to the ball in last year's SB.
Either one of those are dropped and he's viewed as worse than his brother
