This is soooo funny.
I think---Maryland is trying to take a moral victory over a
31-14 beat down.
Realize...now...
WV flat out lost 3 to 7 to 10 points with THEIR missed opportunities....PLUS....
There seems to be some kind gloating over "Not giving up", as the MD offense scored a TD on the 2nd string D of WV at the end of the game.
Believe me---and any that saw that game...KNOW what went on out there.
Is good MD doesn't have to play them again till 2010... although....hahhaha.....it sounds like the 2nd string running back for WV will only be a Jr. by then...
That alone must send shivers to the spines MD faithful..
Ohhh and btw---just for the record...
The Big East is 7-0 in the last 7 games against the ACC.
That includes the Big Boys of the ACC losing and the many, many little boys of the ACC losing.
Expect that margin to be lengthened weekly.
Starting---THIS weekend with the patsies from NC.
Poorrrrrrrrrrr ACC....hahahahahaha....

The Maryland Terrapins showed once again why they can't get respect. They are just not a top caliber football program. They can't recruit the top player's in the country. What is needed, is a big name coach to come in and recuit the top kids, ie, someone that is young and up and coming. Ralph just can't recruit.....and he has been out coached and out recruited by Rich Rodriguez in the last 4 years..
I think Ralph has taken the football program as far as it can go under his guidence.

What a 'Crummey' comment: "....it's one we shouldn't have lost". Base on WHAT? WVU simply has too many weapons. UM had only one statement drive the entire game. When you have about 90 yds rushing and 90 yds passing midway thru the 4th quarter, don't say you should have won. You lost by 17.....slightly better than the 21 you lost by last year. I DO respect UM and the long running series with WVU. I will miss it the next 2 years. Good luck to the Terps the rest of the way!

Congrats, defense. Played a hell of a game. Sooner or later, that O will brake a big one but that may be the biggest challenge as far as matchups you will face. Go out and destroy the rest of them. Steffy, throw that ball deep. Get #17 involved. He got skillz. Go Terps!! You Can Do It!!

Your a "typical" ignorant WV fan....have little or no class at all. When Maryland "thumped" WV twice in one season, I didn't hear you say a work.....just stuck you tail between your legs and went off quietly!!!
WV has the most ignorant fans in the country....but what else can you expect for a "backwoods" hillbilly that is not very educated!!!

You are right. All of us "typical", "ignorant" WVU fans are all hillbilly's. Way to be constructive! A win's a win, my friend.

Hey Travel9822,
Your trite, unenlightened comment is only indicative of your ossified personality, abetted by a myopic outlook where you have arrogated a superfluous knowledge that could only be obtained by an education in Maryland.

Maryland DID recruit well.
Heck----they recruited Slaten, only to turn him away.
LOL---I can only think of....the Yankees and the Red sox in 1918 when they let Babe Ruth go to NY. Can you IMAGINE Slaten at MD these last years?

Am NOT a WV fan.
I call 'em them like I see 'em...and...I said NOTHING that was wrong or not factual...(cept Devine would be a SR in 2010. Not a JR)

I do not deal in speculation.
Does the facts son...lol

Unfortunately---that is not your forte.

Enjoy that baby conference down there.

Did they even have a top 20 team last yr?

Do they have one now?

LOL....ohhhh...it soooo must irk the ACC that they've stunk since raiding the Big East...and...
ohhhhhh,,,how it must stick in the craw of them how the Big East is just-----such a bear after the defections.
C'mon----don't you think that is more than ironic
----but....laughable?
And guess what...rthere is no end in sight...lol.
The Big East is getting more and more piowerful...(Look at what SFU and Cinn did).

Sad state of affairs in the ACC.

Did you ever hear of the saying----
"You reap what you sow"?

Poorrrrrrr ACC...

Hahahaha...

Hey travel9822, way to generalize that "all fans that follow wv are hillbillies etc". typical ignorance. I grew up in md and there are alot of WVU fans in the state of MD mind you, much less across this country.

We (WVU) won the game last night fair..playing our way of football. Yes there were opportunities given to us (the 1st play fumbled snap), but you take what ya can get.

Enjoy the next 2 years.... I know i'll be ready for the 2010 Rematch and Devine will run all over UMD yet again.....

Outcoached by Rich Rod? Do you remember the Gator Bowl in Jan 04? Go home. Ralph saved this progam and turned into a winner. I love ralph and gary. Two alumni's who came back and rescued their programs. This guy has no clue how md football was before friedgen

WVU fans suck. Heck, most of the schools alums are from PA and NJ. Only 16.5% of the state have a BA degree. They are the American version of Scottish Soccer fans. Funny they should paint all the short buses blue and gold in honor of WVU's fan base.
