I am surprised there is even an article written about VICK he is a loser and always will be and if people want to support screw them, they are just as sick as he is.VICK is trying to land a job somewhere but no one really wants him and that fine with me.JINX I am a owner of 2 recuse pits and they are the greatest loving animals but people are always asking me why did adopt pitbulls (all my other dogs were labs)and I always respond with this I was one of those people who years back were afraid til I did some volunteer work, and started working pits because not to many people wanted to. But after I saw what really good dogs they were I adopted 2 and have been a strong supporting voice for them.If you remember they the mascot for the army and the rca dog plus they were in moives (our gang in the 30's).I'm am just of what the media does to them because they are the biggest blame for this. You dont hear about other dogs biting people jusr pits.I tell look up of the top 10 biters pits rank 9th or 10th.

The video pretty much tells it all. How would yu get these alcoholic/crackheads to have animal empathy when they don't even have it for other humans. and if they say they do the 11oclock news seems to say otherwise

I, too, own a pit. Or rather, she owns me. The sweetest, lovingest little girl. She came to me three years ago. Some people were going to put her in a "drop chute" at the pound if I didn't take her. My ex was here visiting our grandson and he kept tlling me I didn't need another dog, especially a pit but, one look at her and i started crying, snatched her out of that car and the rest is, well, history.

Jada had foxtails in her ears and eyes, infections, both eyes matted shut, the skin on her face was cracked and bleeding, and she had the mange. Plus, half starved. The vet removed the foxtails, prescribed antibiotics, internal and external, medicated shampoo and Ivomec for the mange. Ivomec can be tricky because it is solely for cattle and swine mange as an injection but researchers found it can be used for dogs. To be taken orally. So, we started a two month regimen of Ivomec, baths, etc., and now, she is just beautiful. She's a brindle, lively, playful and an excellent watch dog.

So, these idiots who talk down pits need to do some research. Because they are blinded by stupidity. Pits are great dogs when raised by the right people. Any dog can fight and be mean if it is trained that way.

Just read the story. Thanks for sharing. To much of this crap going on and the animals, especially the pitbulls are suffering in more ways than one.
One of our shelters is in desperate need of an overhaul and needs funding...the first gripe of alot of people was the fact there were to many pits there, therefore, they wouldn't donate. Vicks' dogs were mentioned and, yes, this shelter took some of his dogs in and found good homes for them AFTER they had been evaluated and rehabilitated. T he Pitbulls are really getting a bad rap...hell, any dog will fight to the death if its trained to. And people who do it for money, well, it's wrong. Just wrong.
What was Vicks' excuse? Surely he didn't need the money so it had to be because he is just plain mean. I tried to read the posts at the beginning of this thread and I couldn't do it. I got the general idea but, what he did is beyond cruelty. I can't even think of a word for it.
As for the humane officer who killed all those animals...totally wrong, but at least a bullet is quick! Perhaps even more humane than the shelters that suffocate the animals to death, making them gasp for every last breath.
These poor animals need our help but, where to start?
It also takes people saying no without dear. Jennifer Lee Pryor(Richard Pryor's wife)told Chris Rock he would NOT be playing her husband in a movie as his comments concerning pitbulls and Vick were inappropriate.

Hey thanks I think you remember me way back when VICK was caught I jumped on the band wagon writing of what my thoughts were of that pc of crap VICK and all his moron supporters.Amazing how people brought the race card in just because he was black, plus of his surrporters were and i feel sorry for them because it was not about race it was about a very rich pro football player who had all the $$$ in the world resorted to being a murderer. Let me add this VICK has been doing since high school, he used to do this in his grand mother back yard tats where it all started. So I hope his career ends soon so he can still live his spoiled rich life and deal with the fact he is a murderer and an EX CON.I am a huge football fan (sorry to say the RAMS)but their are my team since they were in LA and rumor-ville has it that the rams might be interested in picking him up. IF that happens (I dont think it will)I will give up my loyalty of 50 years plus and I bet there will many many others that will do the same.

and the fact that they are PROUD of THIS????If I saw 5 people protesting something I didn't agree with and fools threatening them..... I wouldn't be taking up for the fools. If I saw 5 PRO Vick peacefully demonstrating at a PETA rally and people behaved this way, honestly, I would assist them. But we all know they wouldn't be having a peaceful protest, now don't we?

Michael Vick is at an interesting cross roads, it is obvious that the Eagles are good, but, not great. McNabb is a good quaterback and is established, however, in the last two games he looked, slow, awkard and out of step with his team.
I do not think that Michael Vick will be a starting quaterback for the Eagles and I do not think he wants another year of being mostly a Wild Cat Option. Now for the fun, what team will take Vick and where could he go and attempt to be a winner. Buffalo is a consideration, however, will not turn into a winner in what is left of Vick's time to play. Who do you think would sign Vick and can he be productive enough to make a competitive team out of them?

Lets face he was at best an ave QB with the falcons. He blew it losing part of his big contract. His passing game sub par so the only he has is his legs and right clubs are looking for a real QB simply at this time most of the teams have some real RB. Thats what going on these days A SOLID QB AND ONE OR TWO GOOD RUNNING BACKS.So there you go HE IS HISTORY, he might want to go to canada, lets see if his ego gets in the way anyways who cares he is a marked man as you see right now in football goodell is getting rid of trash like him.
