Its nice to remember all the nice numbers Green has put up over the years,BUT,this is 2007 not 1998,and i think it has to show.Green no doubt is a split second slower, and thats all it takes in this league to turn you from a superstar to a mere average QB.Marino at 37 hell yea ill take it,but Green, sorry, but hes no Marino.

This boils down to one key thing. If the Oline gells and lets him have some comfort back there we will be a success. If they donot then he will be or look to be an aweful QB.The recievers must run their routes to perfection. All in all i feel pretty good about our chances.we will know a little more after we face TB.HELL YEAH GO FINS!!!!

It's essentially the system Green learned at the Rams, where the emphasis was on smaller, dart-like receivers like Torry Holt and Ike Bruce and, later, at Kansas City, Eddie Kennison.

So how does that equate to taller first-round draft pick Ted Ginn Jr.? "Because he has the quality you look for in this offense," Saunders said. "He gets up the field quickly and gets separation.

You do realize that Ginn is shorter than Torry, Isaac and Eddie?

I think he is right. Green brings that leadership to the team that we need. He does make others around him play better. It does all come down to the O-Line. If they can play good, we will be a good team this year. Cameron is going to mke sure his receivers are going to be where they are supposed to be. We will have a gameplan too, so I am looking forward to what they look like when they are all on the same page. Hopefully they have improved and will show it alot. The one thing that will make me go crazy is if Green can lead the Dolphins to a TD drive. As long as he can put up a TD or two, I think they entire team will be a little more relaxed and ready to make a run.

HELL YEAH!!! GO PHINS!!!

Absolutely not a factual statement.
Ginn and Holt are both 5'11 5/8" ... Kennison is 6'0 3/8" and Bruce is 5'10 7/8". That's the accurate barefoot measurements, as per the NFL scouting combine, BLESTO.

That's not what they list the players in the programs, but that's the no b.s. height of the players.

You make several good points.

I'm almost surprised the writer didn't try to spin this article into a "but Cam's not quite as good a coach as Al Saunders", or "Green sure wished he was playing for Al Saunders."

Sorry to sound so cynical, but that hatchet job Harvey Fialkov did this morning, extrapolating from his interview with Huizenga, that Cam's on a very short leash, set me off !

Yes, I'm expecting Green to take this team to the playoffs just like he did for the Rams.

Blah, Blah, Blah...

Until Cam puts a full gameplan in and we see him fail or succeed, we are all blowing smoke. I am looking forward to good things from this staff, but, in all honesty, I haven't seen s***
