Ray maybe jealous after reading this article. Contract year too ! Hopeful for some depth as we are a little thin in a lot of important positions.

Learning from the BEST MLB ever lived is always a good thing. He knows he's in good hands next to a whole buncha veterans. and of course coming from the "U", that brotherhood is a deep one and when they become teammates, it gets deeper. I'm sure he'll fit right in.

hope he does well. If the article is right then we may have found a decent backup to Ray Ray.

Bottm Line is that we may not able to afford to keep the Dynamic Trio of LB(s) who are going through contract bargaining. Take a good hard look at Lewis, Scott & Suggs; because one or two may not be there next year.

Burgess, Barnes and Gooden might be the trio of the future (hopefully).

Sounds pretty interesting.

Of course, every team thinks it got a third round steal, but I've been reading good things about this kid from everywhere.

On the other hand, I can't remember the last good player the Ravens got in the third round. Anyone remember Devard Darling? Ozzie's not so hot when the draft lasts longer than one round.

That's what I've been thinking; especially if all three of them decide they want to go for ridiculous amounts of money. And, I wouldn't count out Nick Griesen either.

NOTE: When I say all three of them, I'm referring to Lewis, Scott, & Suggs.

The "U" isn't what it once was. Now teams schedule them for homecoming.

Ray Lewis 6ft 235lbs when drafted (250lbs now)
Gooden 6ft 1in 235lbs when drafted

Yeah...waaaaaay too small to be a star...just like that Ray Lewis guy.

Ray stays, but if anyone does depart...it's Bart. Yes, Gooden will learn from the BEST!

Methinks the "too small to be a star" was meant to be a joke, and should be taken that way.

yea i really like what i hear about this guy and i really love antwan barnes i think they bith could be great players on this team

ALSO i think only two of our linebackers will return out of Lewis, Scott, and Suggs..
i feel scott is the odd man out because BALTIMORE loves RAY and you cant let Mr. RAVEN go you just cant and he still one of the most feared linebackers in the league, then i think SUGGS will be back cuz if we dont extend him we will franchise him again, he is only what 24, 25??? yes he is part of out future and that leaves scott out, we dont have enough money and plus scott is 30 anyway so sorry buddy but your the oddman out only had one great season any way last year and the season befor his probowl were decent seasons
cant wait to the season kicks off go ravens!!!!!!!!!! superbowl here we come!!!!!!!!!!

I Was not talking about how good the "U" is now. I'm talking about the BROTHERHOOD and it's clearly stated in my note. What you reading is different sonny boy and what you smoking is definitely some good $hit. The "U" still has the best football players in the NFL. Just go to each team's web site and jot down the U players. You're gonna have way too many Pro bowlers in Offense and Defense.

Up to a couple of years ago I'd agree with you, but they aren't a football power anymore. Sure, teams are stocked with ex-Miami players, but not from the last few drafts. Larry Coker couldn't recruit and they're paying for it. Maryland could even beat them now.

Ur still talking the about how THE U is now?? SONNY, the relationship they have is what I'm talking about or the BROTHERHOOD as it was in CAPS in my previous msg!! so puff puff pass that $hit cuz you're just not catching the drift.

Yea, maybe I'm not catching the drift. I'm not sure how "The Brotherhood" translates into making a better football player. It didn't seem to help Duane Starks too much. It also didn't help Kevin Williams under Michael Irvin's tutulige.
