Rolle has played well at times and poorly at others. He has never been the pro bowler with the Ravens that he was with the Titans. I don't know what kind of money hes pulling down now but we need some youth at the cornerback position. Someone suggested on here to move Rolle to the nickel position. That might be the best way to go if it will work with the salary cap.

If Rolle does in fact have aids or HIV, it is irresponsible to let him play and risk infecting the other players. Football is a physical sport where bloodshed is common, and it is a crime to let this man back on the field if in fact the rumors are true.

Rod H why would you come out or mention such thing as Rolle has aids or HIV, is it because of his ethnic. That how rumours get started. It is not your business. Health is more important than football.

Tom-

It is one of the top proposed theories of what his illness is (wikipedia samari rolles name). You are right, health is more important than football which is why I feel that if it is in fact HIV or aids he should never play a down of football again in his life (for his own safety as well as the safety of other athletes in the NFL). Rumors get started when information is not disclosed, blame him for the rumors.

Samari doesn't have AIDS, Rob. Where the the heck did that come from? Seriously. Samari's illness isn't preventable. I'm not going to discuss it because if the media isn't going to be open about it, then who am I to say? I will say that his situation has been leaking in the media because the guys filling in on the Anita Marks show yesterday on 1300 AM discussed it openly with a caller. It's his business, so we should respect it, but there's no need to jump to crazy conclusions. His problem could hit any of us without warning. It isn't something you contract, it isn't something that lifestyle choices would bring on. It's just an unfortunate medical condition that shouldn't be discussed. Give the man some respect, and the benefit of the doubt.

Sorry, just had to stick up for the guy.

Todd Heap, injured again. What a surprise. Todd has become Mr Brittle; always injured. Time to look for a tight end that isn't injury prone.

Speaking of AIDS, you what the worst part about AID's is? Having to leave your friend's behind.

The illness is undisclosed, and according to Wikipedia, which is not a credible or reliable news source since anyone can contribute to it or amend it, it states that Samari Rolle is suspected to having been treated for seizures.

Regardless of his illness, it is immaterial. He is not playing, and when he is healthy enough to play, then I would hope that he would and that he would play well.
