Good signs from the O line indeed! As they grow it will only get better. My questions is, where does Anderson fit in?

i think we're on to something here fellas. Young o-line, qb, rb and in the nfl you can find recievers most years coming out of school ready to play. i would still start troy smith this year and let flacco watch but it's a fine line for me on this subject. i don't want to see this kid with so much potential be ruined like some other young qbs. it looks good now but what about week 9-10 when the other teams get some tape and we can't cover for the young guy. one thing for certain, well two things. dude has me stoked about the future of our team and wow does he throw a beautiful ball. go ravens!!

consistency is the key to all success. . .what make a pro bowler is not what he does in one game its what he does consistently over a year. . .My MVP was Cameron

Why would Joe want to watch a qb that he's clearly better than? You can't even talk about Troy's mobility now bc the oline played well and he ran 38 yards for a score. Troy Smith will never play again for the ravens barring injury or in a specialty role.

I'm soo tired of the notion to bench Flacco. WHY? Does he look like a retard to you, where you have to bring him up in the pros at such a slow pace? Not everyone acclimates to their job/life in general at your pace. Look at pro soccer players in Euro, hell they go pro at age 16. You're telling me Flacco at his age is not an adult yet? Let him go out there and just play. You guys make too much out of the game. It's just a game they'll be fine. I hope I dont see anyone other than Flacco playing QB for us. go ravens!

If you were the coach I'd fire you.

Troy Smith currently is not the best option at QB and you should always play your best option. Smith is basically a rookie himself and in a few weeks will have less experience than Flacco. Smith missed significant time with his illness and playing him now would be a step back for the team. You snooze, you lose.

John Flacco earned the second game start and will play as long as he does well or shows improvement. He should have some rough games along the way but those are also crtical to his development.

The John Flacco era started a lot sooner than most of us thought possible but it's here now and there is no reason to interrupt it. If things go well or even if they don't, Smith and Bouman should not play a down this year.

It has nothing to do with his being an adult; it has to do with his being ready to handle NFL defenses after a career in the college minor leagues.

The Bengals are horrible, but you can only play the team in front of you, and, as we all know by now, Flacco did pretty well. More Dilfer than Boller, in that he managed not to blow the game even if he didn't shine.

Don't be surprised, however, if he takes steps back when playing the good teams, i.e ones who do not give up 38-yard running TDs to quarterbacks who cannot run! Playing Smith at times this season might be a good thing for everyone concerned and is no reflection on Flacco.

After this Sunday, Flacco will have as many starts as Smith.

AS LONG AS THE O LINE CAN KEEP HIM OUT OF THE HOSPITAL, play Flacco.

Anderson is our new starting RT. Gaither did a great job handling the Bengals improved pass rush, and is decent in the running game. Terry, drafted as a LT, still plays like a finesse guy even with the extra weight he's put on. He got pushed around on a couple of plays Sunday.

Terry may be best suited as a blocking TE, which would allow the coaches to essentially run the unbalanced line formation (2 OTs on same side) and still keep an OT for backside blocking.

Either way, the way this unit plays will be the key to the Raven's success this year. So far, things are looking pretty good. Won't get a real test of their toughness until probably Pittsburgh.
