Running game struggles. With Willis McGahee not at full strength, the Ravens might have trouble establishing the run, which would put Flacco in longer passing downs.

I'll take Rice over Mr. McGooo any time. If he's too lazy to practice in the OTA's and then show up out of shape he needs to go. That's the same thing he was bad mouthed for in Buffalo...being lazy. Maybe Rice will play great and we can trade Mr. McGooo while he still has value (I mean while he still has people snowed)

Flacco playing like a rookie is a realistic concern... He's a rookie afterall.

But the author showed that he really has no idea what he is talking about when it comes to the QB position: When you blitz, you are bringing extra guys. When you do that, you are conceding that there will generally be single (typically bump and run) coverage of the outside recievers.

So is the author worried about Flacco and the boys getting the ball out quickly and accurately in the face of the pass rush pressure? OR is he worried about Flacco throwing into double coverage. Generally speaking, it isn't both at the same time.(Although it makes the article read more gloomy and doomy)

I think Chad Johnson has been dropped on his head when he was young. He should change his name to Chad Section Eight. Who would change their name to Eight Five? I hope he gets traded to another team and they change his jersey number.

No way do I think we win Sunday and I am a huge Ravens fan. Not because they are better, but strictly looking at the histroy with these two teams. Cincy always seems to have our number mostly because of the secondary. I have no reason to believe it will be any different this game since we still don't have a decent secondary. they'll be able to throw at will against us. That being said, by the end of the season, I still think we will be much better than they will in the win/loss column.

Will Anderson play? The Reed injury scares me more than anything.

T.J. Houshmanzadeh is actually the Bengals' best wide receiver against the Ravens, not Chad Ocho Stinko. Chris Henry is also dangerous...in more ways than one.

GO RAVENS! BEAT CINCINNATI!

The Ravens will be taking it in the tailpipe this weekend. Rookie coach, QB, RB, and inexperienced O-line combined with our aging defense spells a dismal season for the Ravens and more losing in Bmore. We're cursed with garbage teams.

Lets wait and see my friend. I agree with that Willis should come to practice and in shape. However, let's see how he perform. Peformance is what the NFL is all about anyway. Nobody cares if a guy don't perform well, but he goes to every practice. Besides, where would the Ravens have been last year without him? One other thing, Burress don't go to training camp or practice and look at how he performed for the Giants. In other words, let's wait and see.

O'ye of little faith! You may be correct, but there are some other factors to consider. I beleive that the defense and special teams will be good, the coaching staff will have Flacco learning to manage the game, and the emphasis will be placed on not turning the ball over. I'm not ready pack it in for the season yet and you shouldn't either.

Dumb a**. Did I say I was packing it in for the season? Why don't you reread what I wrote. I said we will lose the first game only. I didn't say the rest of the season. I also said at the end of the season we will ahve a better win/loss than cincy.

Bruce, you really shouldn't take things so personally. But since I am a dumb a** from your perspective, I am willing yield my ignorance to your infinite wisdom because it's simply not that serious. Also, this dumb a** is suggesting that you proof-read your work since you misspelled “have” in your last sentence. You are correct from one standpoint; you did not say you were packing it in for the season. However, perhaps you should read your post as well because the context suggests you that you will be leading the Ravens charge out of the tunnel with a white flag on Sunday. You did not say that your opinion was for the first game only. And while your post did state that the Ravens would have a much better record than the Bengals, it doesn’t imply that you’re not giving up on the season. Everyone knows that the Bengals will suck monkey balls this year. The Raven’s could have five wins this year and that could be much more than the Bengals.

Hey Dik or DEK,
The Bengals own us. They will beat us again on Sunday. 3-4 @ home 6-7 they own us, right now. Without pressure on QB, Bungles will continue to beat us. GO RAVENS! I just callin it the way I see it.

38-7 Bengals Flacco 3 ints. 150 yds
Rice 53 Yards rushing.
I will pull for Baltimore but I don't think a win is likely.

I can't believe the media hasn't jumped on him for incorrectly translating his name in Spanish. The correct translation would be ochenta y cinco now that sounds rediculous but get it right.

Anyway my prediction 28-14 but Chad Ocho Cinco has a huge day. No i'm not a Bengals fan i'm just being realistic.

No, you're not calling it as you see it. It's clearly marked DEK, not Dik. Good creativity on your part though.

Gee, nice to know we have an elementary school student in here that would rather point out someones spelling mistakes than talk about an issue. And again, go reread my posts. Apparently you are the one who read it out of context. I was talking about the first game and first game only.
