Ed Reed is a flat-out football great. We're very lucky to have him. His style of play is an illustration of mind over matter. He wills it to happen and it does. Priceless.

That's how I expect him to play. That's football. Of course that forced fumble by Reed and his own recovery for a touchdown did singlehandly win us (or at least make it a lot easier to win) the Redskins game. He is quite something, and I am glad he is on our team.

Like Ray Lewis I loved Reed when he played at The U. Both these guys are great to watch, we're lucky to have them both.

Though this is still "Ray's Team" it's apparent that Ed Reed is the immediate heir.

fire trembly is one of those kids that didn't get any attention, and was picked on. So now he comes on here and writes things to get attention. Just let him be and he will go away

Why is anyone surprised that some players took longer to buy into Harbaugh's new culture than others?

This is a normal fact of life (in an organization of passionate high-achievers) that the superstars would take time to adjust to a culture that does not let them do what they want when they want.

Last season, I remember Preston writing about how Ed Reed's lack of discipline was hurting the defense (leaving the other DBs vulnerable). Now, a new culture has been put in place and Ed Reed is playing at an even higher level than was thought possible.

He might realize that this culture will allow him to excel even more.

Fire trembley should be banned from fantasy football because before the game started, he said he was gonna start portis and run for over 100 yards hahahah. Just to show that he really does hate the ravens.

Yeah Preston he really sounded like he wasn't buying into Coach Hardhead after the Foreskins game.

Who is this mysterious Ken Murray? And where did he come from?

A Sun sportswriter that's not afraid to get behind, and even gush a little, about our hometown team and it's players? I like it, I love it, I want some more of it.

Ed Reed is the best safety in the NFL. And he doesn't have that Los Lonely Boys hairstyle like that queen from the Squeelers to boot.

Not only do we get to see the best LB Ray Lewis on a weekly basis, but also the best safety. As fans, we're truly blessed.

He took Portis in his fantasy league so that shows he knows nothing about football. Never has and never will. everybody knows he's an idiot so don't let him get to you.

Hey skay. What a treat it is this year to just enjoy the Ravens, knowing that the team has a great vison and the tactics to achieve it. The coaching is superlative, where the team has bought into Harbaugh's approach, and the defensive and offensive coordinators are masters of the game.

There maybe many here that will disagree, but I think this is a stronger team than the 2000 Ravens, more balanced, and focused. You look at the sidelines, and the players are discussing strategy, congratulating each other, and just enjoying the moments, their passion fully evident. The Ravens beat Pittsburgh, and their momentum will be irrepressible.
