At one time teams feared Ed Reed. He was a game breaker. Now he's just another free safety. Too bad.

Yes age catches up with guys in the NFL very fast, like HEAP. Only the very very best manage to survive the rigors of thsi game and go on to the Hall of fame. RAY LEWIS, OGDEN.

Reed will be fine, 100% chance he plays the 1st game of the season

Harbaugh better tone down his over-anxious approach at training camp. We don't need to lose Reed in August. There are already quite a few injuries to the team, and this is not a deep team at all.

Josh i agree with that but you can bet that they know something more then we do about that nerve damage he has. Why do you think they drafted two safties this year.

boller needs to get traded to a 14-15 Pop Warner team in exchange for a half a bottle of Gator Aide.

Ed Reed still lead the damn team in INTs last year. He's still a game breaker. He's the He's not even 28 yet and you dummies are saying that he's OLD?? Some good $hit you folks are smoking eh??
Dawkins is 33 and He's as good as Reed. I don't know where the injury is coming from, but we'll be alright in Safety position. Nakamura has looked too damn good and we gotta give the kid some credit for his work ethic.
Even if Ed Reed needs more time to recover, I think we have less worries in S than in OL, WR, and TE.

Ed is getting up there, but his smarts and experience will carry him a long way.

He is far from finished.

You think Ed Reed is done? Oh man, that's good.

Bill Belicheck, one of the best coaches and personnel men in the league disagrees: http://weblogs.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens...

I don't think anybody thinks or said that ed reed is done, i think the general thinking is that injuries are just starting to catch up with him and slow him down.
