It's about time Harbaugh made this announcement. Now all the Troy supporters can stop whining about him not being in there. The coaching staff realizes what I've known from the beginning. Smith is not an NFL quality starting QB. He'll probably be off the roster in two years. Flacco can now continue his on the job training without looking over his shoulder.

Harbaugh just announced the obvious.

The people clamoring for Smith or someone else were clueless.

Once Flacco started week 1, the horse had left the barn. The fact that Harbaugh announced this after what was clearly Flacco's worst start further emphasizes the stranglehold he's got on the starter's job.

Anwar phillips looked better than Ivy or any of the corners listed below Fabian Washington during the preseason. I like his chances and hopes he makes the active roster soon with some of our injuries. I also hope Martin gets back on the field as well because he looks like a pretty sound corner.

"Pittsburgh's Hines Ward is among the very best - and most underrated - receivers in history. He catches and blocks. He might be responsible for as many yards as a downfield blocker as he is as a pass-catcher. Now 32, he became the Steelers' all-time leading receiver at 29!
But TV would have us think of Moss, and Terrell Owens and Chad Johnson and Burress - stage hogs - as the best of the best.
TV could do so much better, every week, every game. As for now, if only Ward had played like a selfish jerk he wouldn't be terribly underrated; he'd be overrated."
Hines Ward rocks! We should all be grateful this guy is playing.
Maybe you need to read the poll taken of current NFL players that said Hiney Ward is the 2nd dirtest player in the NFL right behind Harrison, dont need that clown on our team. Firetrembley is some pimply faced little kid who gets off on National Geographic and waits for his parents to go to bed or leave the house before he gets on his pc, the moron is clueless.Steeler fans have to post here because they have no paper to reply to because everyone in Pissburgh is unemployed.....lol, I wish all you clowns were on the back of Bens bike when he crashed, hes still looking for his helmet. If any of you web tuff guys get offended about my post come to M & T Bank section 503 row 4 and talk trash to me and I`ll make you glad they invented painkillers.

Well I'm sure we're all surprised Flacco is starting for the rest of the year, looks like Troy's chance is officially gone. As for Terry, I honestly think Anderson should start in his place this Sunday, if Terry is banged up why take a risk and go with a healthy Anderson, I think he'd do better anyway.

The Ravens don't have a real deep threat! Why not trying Figurs? He seens shaky on kickoff returns. But he is fast and can catch the ball!

I heard that Harbaugh also announced that Ray Lewis will be the starting middle linebacker for the rest of the season, Cam Cameron will remain the offensive coordinator and the team will continue to call itself "The Ravens."

....you might want to forget this quick as will all the fair weather, unintelligent Foreskin fans when the Skins lose the next two games and you abandon your team like you do every year..........

Hensley's article in Tuesday's sun says "It remains a mystery why the switch (Walker for McAlister) was made." Is he kidding? Didn't he see the fiasco against the Colts. I even called a talk show and complained that McAlister's too slow to play defensive back. Harbaugh saw that and to his credit didn't let McAllister's contract get in the way of him doing what was necessary , ie to replace him in the starting lineup.
