Mike Tannenbaum is a sniffer who never played wiffle ball (never mind football) in his life. Simply put, to say that he knows nothing is a compliment. If it wasn't for a hostile coup against Terry Bradway, he would be lucky to have a job selling life insurance to people in nursing homes. How do you have a billion dollar team/business investment run by someone who knows NOTHING! They backed into the playoff as a one dimensional 500 team and it shows.

Josh -- HUH? What in the world are you talking about? NFL teams don't win two playoff games by accident. You are clearly a Patriot fan who can't get past the fact that your team choked in the wild card round! You probably couldn't decide who to root for last week either. Facts are the facts...fact is this Jets team has a bright future.

You are right about him being a sniffer but the biggest problem with Mike Tannenbaum are the locker room tensions swirling around since he was on HBO's Hard Knocks that he is a switch hitter. During camp and throughout the season, he was always walking around the locker room checking out and admiring player's physiques/packages. Even though he is married, several players think he is bi-sexual or gay the way he always stops by the locker room and stares. If this persists, the Jets may have internal problems and player animosity. He is also very feminine in his demeanor which just adds fuel to the fire.

Mike Tannenbaum has NO FOOTBALL BACKGROUND (NEVER PLAYED) AND KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT THE GAME. Simply put, he is a SNIFFER. If Rex Ryan (a football genius) was running the organization alone, David Harris would have already been signed to a long term contract extenson and be a Jet for life.
Ever since Hard Knocks on HBO, there has been major rumors in NY and in the locker room that Mike Tannenbaum is BISEXUAL or GAY. He always does “walkbys” in the locker room (staring at the players) and more than regularly pats players on their gluteous maximuses on and off the field (to their dismay). This, coupled with his feminine demeanor, has been a source of tension with the players and staff.
The Jets should nip this problem in the bud before it affects on their play on the field (they appeared successful last year but won 7 or more games in the last seconds (could easily have been a below .500 team). With all the rumors in the NY area about this, hopefully, Mr. Johnson can nip this in the bud and focus on the business of signing David Harris to an extension fast.
