maybe Bledsoe was frustrated with TO because--haven't you heard? TO never learned the playbook--he use to leave it in his locker at night--Romo had to keep running over to him and tell him where to run to--the Cowboys actually told TO not to bother with certain parts of the playbook because he was having a hard time understanding any of it--read it on cowboysplus.com
I doubt this. But it really doesn't matter even if this is true. The QB's job is to get the ball to the receiver who is in the best position to make the play. He didn't do this and Romo did. This is why, despite Romo's inexperience, and Bledsoe's experience, Romo shined and Bledsoe didn't And TO is not the only player that Bledsoe failed to get the ball to. He just wasn't doing it, and the numbers show this to be true. And more importantly, in spite of his very evident loyal fans, no GM isn't jumping to sign Bledsoe.

He did no such thing. He did help Buffalo, but like always, couldn't maintain. He did nothing for Dallas, that could not have been done by going to Romo earlier (since Romo outperformed him - check the numbers -- this fact is self-evident).
EVERYTIME ROMO THREW I CLOSED MY EYES...VERY INCONSISTANT. I WAS SO HAPPY ABOUT HIS LAST BLUNDER, TOOK THAT "SMIRK" right off of his face. I can't even believe that drew was ousted by Romo...everyone is looking for another Brady who isn't that good...his teammates put up his numbers.

I am amazed that anyone says this. Go to NFL.com and check. Romo had one of the LOWEST interception ratios (compared to TD's) in the league and it was way better than Bledsoe.

Bledsoe played six games. He had 7 TD's and 8 interceptions. That is 1.33 interceptions per game.
His ratio of TD's to interceptions was 1.14.(This is very high). High is bad, low is good. This is why he was pulled.

How did Romo do? In 10 games he had 19 TD's. Only Peyton Manning had more per game (and that was a fractional percentage). He had 13 interceptions in 10 games. That is 1.3 interceptions per game, slightly less than Bledsoe. But he had a ratio of .68 (which is very low). So whereas his interceptions was almost as bad as Bledsoe, his TD's was much higher. That is why he is playing.

Romo played in the same amount of losses as Bledsoe. But he played in twice as many wins. That is good.

This is not to say that his interceptions were okay, but when it's combined with the rest of the story, does tell why he was playing and not Bledsoe. Twice as many wins for an equal amount of losses. And one of the highest points per game of any QB playing.

And teamates always put up the numbers. The difference is, they didn't do it with Bledsoe. That is very telling and those of us on the outside looking in, should not minimize the significance of this fact.

Can I ask how you know that Romo will be mediocre? He had 1.9 TD's per game and a 95 QB rating. Bledsoe never had that in any 10 game stretch in his career (not that this is necessary). What you say could end up being true ... but I'm just wondering, on what basis do you predict this based on what you KNOW now?

You overlook, like everyone else who likes Bledsoe, is that Romo and Bledsoe had the same offensive line. Brady and Bledsoe had the same offensive line. When you compare apples to apples,... saying that Bledsoe would "do just fine" if a team will give him a chance,... just doesn't wash. He has been with three teams, ALL OF THEM very big on him He was well liked by the coaches and GM's. He's had his shot. If he is unwilling to play second string (which I have no issue with), he is as good as retired. No team is going to give him the starting job in the NFL.

I really hope that Drew gets another shot but he may not. There are many factors which may prevent this, is he willing to sign as a backup and wait for a chance, age, and the memory to GM's of his last pass. People that do not like Drew will try to convince you he easily the biggest bust that ever played QB. They do not mention that he was replaced by Tom Brady a future Hall of Famer and if we believe Cowboy fans 10 games into his career another Hall of Famer in Romo. But this is not a comparison of Drew to Romo that decision was made. Hopefully Drew will play again if not Drew had a fine career .

Bledsoe, sucks hard. Every where he goes since he peaked, he has been a distaster. Although I think he's a class act so I'll give you that, but as always he chocked when it counted....Philly ring a bell....4th quarter and it's pick off all the way to the end zone..cowboys loose. Thanx Drew, good luck you"ll need it..
