SUNDAY'S will NEVER BE THE SAME in the nfl . A Sunday without one of the greatest people and players to ever play the quaterback position. We need many more Bledsoe's than Pac MAN to make football the fun family sport it should be. Maybe we will see him again in the booth on Sunday's or in Canton where he belongs. Thanks again Drew for 14 years of great football.

You could say Bledsoe was Marino Jr.

I had Dolphins season tickets for 13 years, and one of the most memorable games for me was the season opener against the Patsies in Marino's first game back after tearing his Achilles' tendon. What a shootout that was! I think both QBs threw for about 400 yards with Marino getting the last laugh by heaving a bomb to Irving Fryar in the waning seconds.

It is weird isn't it. I've been a fan of his since his beginning days, and now I feel a big hole. Drew will be missed.

I would say they should make a statue of drew, but that would be redundant

Drew has got to be the best quarterback that has gotten screwed over as many times as he has. Losing his job because of an injury just isn't right but it is the way the business is. The one in Buffalo was the biggest joke of em all. Also getting pulled at the half of a 13-7 game was a slap in the face as well. Not many other guys would have handled it like Drew did. A class act all around. Good luck in the future Drew. Hopefully if were lucky we will see ya play again someday.

Drew deserves a lot of credit for his performance on and off the field. Plus how many quarterbacks nearly get killed on the field and come back for another five years--he gave us alot of great moments--remember how he brought the Patriots into the playoffs playing with a broken finger? How he came off the bench for Brady and won the game for the Patriots that brought them into his second Super Bowl? Those great nail biting throws he made--those last minute come from behind wins--I am going to miss him --football will never be the same--I can't wait until the Patriots retire his number--I'll be there

Drew Bledsoe is the only reason that I started watching football back in 1996. He made the game so exciting and fun to watch. Not many people today seem to remember all of those great long touchdowns and games that were so enjoyable. Drew will definitley be missed here as football just will not have anywhere near the same draw as it did.

Bledsoe put the patriots back into a respectable franchise. I still feel he takes the blame for offensive line failures. He was the best. I hope he gets into hall of fame on the first try. Good luck drew and enjoy your children's games.

First of all I am a colts fan and will always be. But I also cheered for the Patriots back in the day when Bledsoe was there. The moment they said Bledsoe was no longer the starter do to injury, I can honestly say that was last day I ever cheered for the Pats. I really enjoyed watching him play the toughest position in football. I have nothing but respect for the man.

Everyone is right... Sunday will not be the same... there will be no more deep passes to Terry Glenn... there will be no more comebacks... it's all over!! And let me tell you Drew gave it his all!! Never once complaining or taking the cheap way out by using the media to plea his case. I don't know who I will watch this season because for the last 14 years I only wanted to watch #11 Drew Bledsoe...

I agree. Bledsoe was a Marino Jr. They both put up huge numbers, and they both played terrible come playoff time. Regardless, Bledsoe was a class act

Losing his job because of injury? No, he lost his job because the Pats could not win with him starting. Keep in mind, the year he went down they started the season 0-2, he got injuried and they won the SuperBowl. The year before that they were also terrible.

I do like the guy, but lets get real. He's not going to have his number retire, he wasn't that good.
