Romo played scared against the Seahawks during that playoff game. They had cornerbacks off the street and he couldnt do anything.
Only someone pre-disposed to criticize could even come up with that. It is a ridiculous statement and completely inaccurate.

It is obvious Drew Bledsoe's brother-in-law here will never be confused with a man who has an informed objective opinion. The truth is, Drew had a fine NFL career, and even played in the Super Bowl. He just never had that dominant season. He never came close to putting up the kind of numbers Romo has in 18 games, yet somehow to this guy, Bledsoe was worth a #1 overall pick, but Romo is not worthy of being paid more than Marc Bulger or Matt Schaub? Ridiculous. Romo may set every passing record in Dallas. That would not be a stretch, even if his talent level hits the ceiling this season (I think he still has some upside). Considering that even the legendary Dallas QB's which have come before him (Meredith, Staubach, White, and Aikman) never put up Romo-like numbers, anyone who thinks he is overpaid knows nothing. This is the franchise. Tony Romo. As long as Jerry can keep guys like Witten, Barber, Leonard Davis, Andre Gurode, some more than decent wide receivers and a solid defense around him, we will be contenders for years to come. Thank you, Jerry, for paying Tony Romo. As for Bledsoe's fan club chairman, I'll see you in Arizona.

What is completely inaccurate? Did you watch the Seahawk game? They had two corners who were not on the roster at mid season- one corner was signed towards the end of the year, the other was signed THE WEEK OF THE GAME. Also, he himself said towards the end of the year last year and into the playoffs, he played thinking "play it safe-dont risk anything..." In other words, he played scared.

That isn't "playing scared". It's being a QB. That game the Dallas defense wasn't do so well, and Romo simply knew he needed to play safe. You really need to get off of Romo and recognize what he has done and is doing well.

I wonder what his opinion is now. Romo is 9 games into this season, and already he has 23 TD passes (and 2 rushing). That is second only to Tom Brady, who I think we'll all agree is having a ridiculous year. Tony got his money, and he is proving that he is worth every penny to the Cowboys...
