Absolutely! He MAY not go in his first year of eligibility but I hope he does!! The cool thing is that the first year he is eligible is....2011

Gotta love #11!!:)

I made a deal with a good friend in 1993 that if/when Bledsoe goes in to the HOF we will be there in person. Here's hoping to an Ohio trip in the summer of 2011!

No way Drew makes the HoF. I am a huge fan of #11, but he's got a bad wrap from most sports writers, who are instrumental in nominations. Drew, unfortunately, will always be remembered as "the guy who isn't Tom Brady".

Most football pundits feel that Drew had a propensity to make bad decisions and mistakes at the worst moments. If we really look at his career, that may be accurate. His abosolutely huge impressive numbers won't be enough for the hall because of that.

To be realistic: Drew was replaced in NE, cut in Buffalo (For JP Lossman....COUGH!!) and released in Dallas. This is a flawed resume. Hell, there was absolutely no hoopla at all with his retirement announcement. No, Drew won't be in the hall. If he could have just pulled out two more good years....

Drew Bledsoe was a class act and his stats hold their own against many of the all-time greats. I say YES.

Drew was a great quarterback. He gave the Pats some excellent years, especially when then Pats weren't on top of there game.He would've gone passed the 50 thousand yard mark if stayed in the N.F.L
So my answer is yes he will make the hall of fame.He was a true gamer.

He will make the HOF everybody forgets he made it to the superbowl before tom brady was around but lost to brett favre and the packers. The packers were better because the NFC was to dominant at the time you had the 49ers and the cowboys.

He should be in. Stats justify it. Also Pats do not win first super bowl with out his TD pass against Pittsburg replacing Brady. He was a class guy, who played on some dreadful teams.

People forget how good Drew Bledsoe was and what he did for the NFL and the teams he played with. He will be in the HOF and i will be there in person to watch him go in.

Bledsoe is nowhere near a top 50 QB of all time. So no way he makes it. He's about the same level QB as Steve Grogan, or Bernie Kosar.
yes he will

I think Bledsoe will make the HOF at some point,he is in the top 10-15 in most of the major passing catagories ,thats fairly impressive but whats most impressive to me is that through out his career in New England he never had even close to a top receiver to throw the ball to.He had Ben Coates who was a good receiving tight end thats about it unless you consider Terry Glenn something special,he was decent at best.the Pats had Curtis Martin but other than him they never had a good running game(Robert Edwards for one year) Bledsoe had a horrible offensive line the last couple of years that he played in NE though i remind you that they started the 99 season 6-0 until Coates gave up ..if the voters look at his career and the players he had around him i think they have to understand that he put up those numbers inspite of the less than perfect teammates..they went to the superbowl in 97 and we all remember what Desmond Howard did to us as far as punt returns.then he came off the bench in the AFC championship game after not playing for the longest time in probably his whole life and won the game..i think all in all he was a hall of famer..

Numbers and super bowl rings aren't everything. Although, in the Patriots run to their first super bowl championship, Bledsoe contributed and was a major factor in the AFC championship game against Pittsburgh. His stats speak for themselves, top 10 in almost all major categories. So there it is, he has a ring, yes as a backup, he has big enough stats to get in, but the one big thing we're forgetting about is that the guy was a class act. Should Drew Bledsoe make the hall of fame, Absolutely. Let's also not forget that he was a major part of the Patriots staying in New England.

Drew bledsoe deserves to be HOF. He didnt need any rings. look at Dan marino, he didnt win one super bowl.. The 2 Qb's are similiar. except Marino had good recievers and a better team around him. Drew has the numbers, all the stats, Bills, and cowboys were really bad, i mean bad. so dont hold that against him and if you do u have to say the same thing about dan marino

The stats speak for them selfs. Many people in New Enland comepare Bledsoe to Brady and you cant Bledsoe was a number one draft pick he was expected to carry the Team and makebig plays. When Brady came in he was only expected to play within the system under contol. Eventualy as time past they opened things up. But that was when they finally started to give him more weapons to work with. Drew shoud absolutely be in the hall! Nothing but class!!!

Bledsoe absolutely should be in the hall of fame. The only real weapon he had when with the Pats was Ben Coats, not that they didnít have some quality receiversí. Too bad they didn't put a better line in to protect the guy they knew was not mobile. I donít think the NFL has ever had a classer quarterback.
